I think it's generally recognised that Laurent Mourgeut of Lyon (the creator of Guignol) was one of the first, if not the first person, to use a hand puppet.

It depends on the quality of puppet that you want. I've seen puppets at Target for five dollars. However, I have seen better puppets that are around forty-five dollars and I'm sure there are puppets that are more.

The movie was May, released 2002, starring Angela Bettis and Jeremy Sisto, and written and directed by Lucky McKee. A young social outcast goes to great measures to find the perfect friend in this debut horror feature from director Lucky McKee. Set apart from her peers as a child due to her lazy eye, May's only friend and confidant was a delicate doll encased in glass. Though as a young adult May has learned to control her lazy eye with glasses and contacts, her introverted tendencies always seem to hinder her search for the perfect friend. =Well, he only appears in Shippuden for a couple episodes but in those episodes he usually stays in Hiruko's body (Sasori's puppet) to protect his self.And when Sasori fights Sakura in Shippuden he uses all of his puppets to win....but he didnt...and he died TT^TT=

really puppets back then use to be a use of scarying away ghost and evil darkness. and it entertand the gods and rulers. sometimes the thought of a puppet being used for that is kined of scary and un enjoyable.

just guess, the album went gold (which means it sold more than 500000 copies) but that was during 1986 right now they should have sold almost a million, think about it, each of their cds cost about $15...1000000 x 15 = 15 millions dollars from only master of puppets, now, the black album sold even more!

Topo Gigio, which is best translated as Little Louis ( or Luigi) Mouse. do not confuse with Topolino , ;lit, Little Mouse- in commercial realilty- the Mickey Mouse character of Disney fame and origin. In Italy, He is called Topolino ( always capitalized). The Topo Gigio character was animated by a team of four Italian puppeteers. Much was done with dark velvet screens to shield movement. There may have been other puppets and puppet like acts ( The talking box of Senor Wences) but Topo Gigio was the big one. Sullivan had a variety of acts as warm-ups which were essentialy carnival, circus, or Vaudeville survivals- that no other show used on TV. ( they were used in circus and carnival stunts and acts) essentially Sullivan, though he never used the word, was Televised Vaudeville.

Pinocchio is the central character of the story written by Carlo Collodi, 'The Adventures of Pinocchio.'

He was a wooden puppet (a Marionette), made by an old man called Geppetto, from a piece of wood that could talk. Pinocchio goes through a series of adventures, until he finally learns that in order to achieve one's goals, one needs to work hard. He tries to evade this several times, and always gets caught in dangerous situations.

In the end, he manages to prove he changed from a selfish sloth into a hard-working and loving boy, and this change is reflected in the fact that he actually becomes a real boy, thus fulfilling his dream.
