Is there a button that you need to press after entering the code for a 1992 Honda Prelude if the radio will not work?

Try disconnecting the negative battery wire, leave it off for ~5 minutes, then reconnect. Start the engine. The radio should read "CODE". Using the station preset buttons (1 through 6) enter your code. Then turn the radio on. Works for my '93 Prelude; hope this helps you!

What do you do if you put the dome light in your 1997 Neon while the car was running and blew your stereo and headlight chime fuses but after you replaced them the radio still doesn't work?

If you are positive that you replaced all correct fuses, in box and on the line (if any) then you probobaly shocked your deck, sorry

Answercheck and see if your deck has a fuse you may have blew that one too AnswerYeah, my radio went out and I found out that there's also a fuse behind it. You'll have to pull your radio to check(pop off the dash cover and 2 screws hold the radio in my 98 Neon, or, if you have small hands you can look for it with a flashlight and change it from under the ashtray or behind the console). Hope it helps! AnswerCheck radio fuse, incar fuse pannle and the fuse box under the hood, use the diagram on the box lid, I think there is a 10A fuse that will pop and you loose the radio. (box is near battery) AnswerYes I have a '96 Plymouth neon. I was trying to change the CD player when the dome light went out, and the new player didn't seem to get any power. Sure enough it was the 10 amp fuse in the fusebox under the hood.

When replacing a 1998 Nissan Sentra GXE stock radio with a new one does the radio get shut off do to anti theft precautions because I tried changing mine and the new radio will not work?

I changed the factory radio in my 98 Nissan Sentra GXE without any problems. I don't even think that model has any antitheft precautions unless they were installed aftermarket. I put in a Sony radio with CD and USB port. If your new radio doesn't work, make sure all the connections are correct and that your new radio isn't at fault.

Make sure you plug the antena in... the stereo wont turn on unless the antena and power plugs are in.

What is 100.5 radio stations phone number?

Right now today ... July 2011 ... there are 65stations licensed to operate

FM broadcast at 100.5 in different parts of the USA.

We can't help you with the phone number unless we know where you are,

and which one you're listening to.

Call letters would help. Of course, if you had call letters, you could get the phone

number from your local directory assistance (that's "information" on the phone).

How is radio one broadcast across the country?

I take it you mean BBCs Radio 1.

I'm not sure if you mean across the UK or the US. However, national or even worldwide broadcasts are not uncommon, and utilize different ways to broadcast the signal. In the past it was relay towers, relaying the signal from one point to another allowing for a nation wide broadcast.

For worldwide, its the good old fancy internet.

A good example is NPR( National Public Radio) every night they switch to BBC, and they broadcast BBC nation wide in the US for about 6-7 hours.

How do you remove the radio on a 2003 Buick Rendezvous?

To remove the radio you need to remove the dash trim piece, which goes from the vent to the left of the steering wheel, around the instrument cluster, and around the center console (radio, climate control, etc.) and vents.

1- remove lower knee panel under driver steering column. There are two screws (phillips) and a series of clips (they're actually the easiest clips I've come across).

2- Start from left by pulling the trim piece away from the dash. It's held in with clips the entire way around. Don't give it too hard of a tug, but you will need a little muscle behind it. If you have HUD or information center, you'll need to unplug them. (Note: I chose not to unplug or completely remove the trim piece, as it's a royal pain to get if over the steering wheel.)

3- Lower steering column to get the trim pice out. (Again, I chose not to do this, and simply pulled it about halfway over the steering wheel, which gave me plenty of room to get the radio out. I did shift down into first gear to give myself a little more room to maneuver.)

4- remove screws holding radio in and replace the radio with your new one.

Reverse the steps to get it all back in. It's actually pretty easy. I had a little bit of trouble in getting the trim piece back over the ignition switch and shifter simultaneously, but don't give up on it and you'll finally get the right angle.

What is the frequency limit which can transmit without license?

There are several narrow slices of license-free radio spectrum. The easiest way for us

to both answer and evade your question at the same time is to say that any radio

equipment you can buy and legally operate without a license will be built in such a

way as to have its operating frequency limited to the legally permitted band.

Plus ... here's a little-known fact that most owners of such equipment never suspect ...

those frequencies are clearly identified and plainly written right out in the open, in

the instruction manual that comes with the equipment !

If you're unlicensed, then it's never legal to transmit with equipment that you've built

on your own.
