I make brisket a lot...I eat it for 2 or 3 days. After that, it's pretty dry.

This food will keep for about 3 days in the refrigerator. Place the food in an air tight container for the best results. This food can easily be transferred to the freezer for longer storage time.

Any item can be changed in value, especially with kitchen materials so noone can really answere that question. You can put dimands on anything and it would be expensive.

Sauerkraut was pickled as a means to preserving a cabbage crop for long periods. As a rule my German immigrant Grandmother used to say it was good AT LEAST 9 months in a sealed refrigerated container, when she passed the family recipe down to me. Just look out for mold or uncharacteristic smells.

This answer would be temperature dependant and determined by the salad ingredient that would spoil the quickest. For tuna salad, I would think the tuna would spoil quickest. its not always at the bottom its just the way yours is made some other people have asked why is it at the TOP of the refrigerator so my answer is that its just a selective spot depending on what fridge you have.

Yes, at least every six months, that's at a minimum. However, if your water is less than perfect, you may have to change it more often. Most filters come with a warning light to indicate if it needs changing. Without that, you should check it about every three months to see if it's OK. It's not hard to see if there's a build-up on the filter, and if you see anything at all, change. At least every 6 months. Inside of most refrigerator water filters is a activated carbon block wrapped in a type of paper skin. Actived carbon is excellent at taking out water impurities and chlorine. The paper skin acts as a prefilter and will plug up with dirt and sediment. Pending on your incomming water quality you should change your filter per the manufactures spec's of every 6 months.

You should keep foods out of the danger zone to prevent bacteria from forming on foods. Bacteria can form on foods in the danger zone after just an hour. The danger zone is under 145 degrees and over 45 degrees.

One of the advantages of having a self defrosting freezer is no need to manually clean up the ice build up. Another great thing about manually defrostation is frozen foods are not as prone to stick together.

Foods that need to be refrigerated should not be unrefrigerated for more than two hours. I remember one summer my refrigerator broke and I immediately pulled out my coolers and bought some ice. If the refrigerator is in an area which is cool and is maintaining a temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit or below you may be safe but don't take a chance get the refrigerater fixed or put your items on ice.
