Also if you drive this thing into a grocery store or a department store, you'll most likely be escorted out or have the police called on you as its too clunky and is as big as a 16" BMX bicycle and is a lot wider than a power chair.

This vehicle may be legal in china as that's where its made and imported from, Xtreme's quality is among one of the lowest in all of the American based company's that imports scooters and vehicles of that nature from china to the USA. Trust me, I've been through the whole import and export of china goods for a while now. Anything made in china is usually not worth it however, anything made in republic of china is well worth it, the republic side actually has quality control.

The headlights and other small details will differ from the image shown by xtreme and the image example from the manufacturer, but here's how it works, some rich person goes to china, goes into their production warehouse, and goes and picks out a basic scooter model/type. Then goes and browses and picks out what part he/she wants on it, like they can go in and look at different frontal parts from the list and chose like, this headlight or that headlight with this body or what have you. Or I want this seat in this material in this color or these tail lights but in that design and etc.

Also I've had people bring in X-treme scooter's and other toys from them to my house and I had to repair them with parts made from other companies because of how poor the parts that xtreme uses on their import selections

They say you get what you pay for, but with Chinese imports, if you don't know how it truly works, you're pretty much setting yourself up for a lot of stress and troubles. If you want to go with the saying "You get what you pay for" then base it on the actual price of what it costs to make it, not what you pay for it from the importer. Keep in mind that in china, there are no child labor laws, so you're item may be made from a warehouse in china that has children that are screwing on your bolts and either forgetting some or not tightly doing it. Not all of china is bad, but the main areas that are used to make items for the USA are rather poor, but how you can you beat paying a person 20 cents an hour to do something that an American would require $18-25 dollars an hour to do.

PS, here's another great example of overpriced scooters, even though shipping charges and handling fees are in the importer's price for an item, state registration, its still overpriced.

For a really poorly put together and poor quality in parts 50cc gas scooter, it will run you at the least $900 US dollars and $1300(yes $1300 for a poorly made 50cc scooter). 50cc gas scooters have a max speed of 30-35 mph depending on the parts. only $300 to make a 50cc scooter and $350-400 to make a 100cc scooter?, the extra 50-100 usd is for the engine, everything else is the same as the 50cc bike. However in the USA, its $900-$1300 for the 50cc, and then just swapping out the engine with one that costs $50-$100 more(the 100cc engine), will in turn make the importer's pricing go up to $1500-$2000. But since only about 2% of the people that are interested in Chinese scooters know about this, there is money to be made and problems to be given. As they say, you get what you pay for, since your machine costs only $300 dollars to make, but if you're going off the $900-$1300 pricetag from the importer, then you're quite off. So if you guys can, spread the word and teach each other. Ciao.

After reading this link: http://www.kscourts.org/ksag/opinions/2001/2001-039.htm It appears to be saying that every person operating a motorized vehicle is required to have a valid drivers license. It also appears to say that any scooter counts as a motorized vehicle and must be registered to be ridden on KS highways (streets)

Use a straight edged screwdriver. Put the edge about 1/4 of an inch intothe lock and turn it If its a cheapy Chinese scooter like mine it will easily pop open

The Yamaha Governor is attached to the top of the fuel pump. Remove the governor retaining screws. The governor will come off.

Unless the moped has some sort of remote start like some cars have, the only way to start a moped without the key is to hotwire it. General hot wiring methods work, though be careful, as this is usually extremely suspicious.

If the wheel on the back of the scooter has one side free (the other side is taken by the belt drive to the electric motor), you can attach a gear to the free side of the wheel. From there, you can mount a small motor to the deck of the scooter, add a centrifugal clutch, and the chain (you may have to modify the scooter to allow room for the gear and chain, and the motor mounts). By using the centrifugal clutch, the motor would not be engaged unless it reaches a certain rpm, and uses centrifugal forces to activate the chain drive, that way, if the gas motor is off, you wouldn't be turning the gas motor when you use the electric motor. Also, this will allow the gas motor to idle without moving the scooter when you have it running. I am planing to do this to my scooter as well, and will post a link to some pictures of the finished project once completed.

Enable It to absorb more air and gasoline. In the the end it has to have proper fuel/air ration. Also bore kits make engine bigger internally. Better spark plug lighter internal parts etc. weight is a huge culprit other than detonation

I'm going to assume you are talking about a pocket bike that has a non-functioning pull starter? If so, you have a problem, since most such machines have centrifugal clutches that don't engage unless the engine is turning faster than a pretty good rpm, so they can't be push started.

New pull start assemblies are pretty easy to find on the Internet for quite reasonable prices, and are simple to install. Do a little research and you should be able to find one.

dude it depends on wat u want to modify?? is it the body line?? or the performence?? the only advice i would give u is to make ur bike lighter rather than adding stuff to the body of ur bike... NOw when it comes to an engine n performence the basic thing u can do is add a K&N air filter .. change the carbarator jets...change the mixture n add a disk brake for safety.. that's just level one u can go for porting,sproketing,adding a free flow exhaust, polishin the cylinder head, changing the crank adding another gear or even play with the cdi to extract power.. lastly u can put a bigger piston too .. so u if u have the money .. u can just keep on increasing the power but ur engine life will decrease n ur life n maintainence will increase... but it a price u pay for RACING

The simplest way to increase performance on your 50cc two-stroke bike is to replace the muffler assy with something called an expansion chamber. Its' an odd shaped cone like thing which "tunes' your exaust. Depends on the circumstances. Is it something looking pretty much like a stock road bike, or can it be "anything" that's two-wheeled and doesn't have a motor? is it ridden on a track, road? Is it flat or is it downhill? Can the rider have another vehicle ahead acting as a wind shield, or is it an unassisted ride. The record for unassisted, flat-ground, human-powered is something above 100 km/h, but that was set in something looking more like a torpedo on wheels. An ordinary road bike with a decent rider will do around 80km/h in a descent. A top DH MTBer can do well over 100 km/h terrain permitting. Top result for a rider drafting (but not being towed) behind another vehicle is well over 200 km/h, but that's during extreme circumstances.
