Do sharks mean to kill people?
no they don't have great eyesight and they only see an outline of you and they think your a seal or a turtle etc...
It varies by species, but, No one really knows. Without growth studies that are accurate, we have no way to accurately estimate the minimum years required by them to achieve the total lengths we have actually recorded. We know they can live for possibly decades.

How can you over come your fear of sharks?
I had a major fear of sharks myself, but at a young age. All I did was try not to think of them. If that doesn't work try thinking about them and asking yourself why on earth they would hurt you - of all people in the world.
Can Greenland Sharks live in freshwater?
Not for long.Only the bull shark has evolved to live in fresh or saltwater.
It is assumed to to up to 70 years, but measurements have proven difficult, particularly with the increase in killing and threats to the population.
yes the saber toothed cat is a decendant of the miacid which was a small fury mammal that lived 60 million years ago. all mammals such as tigers, lions, dogs, even monkeys are thought of all to come from the miacid. sooo basically yes, the saber toothed cat is a mammal, or was a mammal anyway until it became extinct =]]
How do sharks survive in ocean?
They survive because they live off of dead and alive animals that live in the ocean.
What type of sharks eat seals?
i would say that pretty much every shark couldeat a seal, but not every one does. im not exactly sure what kind does, but any shark could. thats probably my best guess.
well if you take my height and multiple it but 49 then divide by 10 then add 10, you will get the answer in yards no kidding JK
i think they live in like the mid ocean other than that im not sure who FAR down they live
Is the basking shark endangered?
Bull Sharks are apex predators. In their natural habitat, they have very few natural predators. Very few marine animals are large enough to actually hunt or kill a full grown bull shark. However, humans are the biggest enemies for these sharks. They have been hunted and killed indiscrimenately by humans for decades.
Whales that eat plankton have things called baleen plates. They are fleshy plates covered in hairs. the whale approaches the swimming plankton with an open mouth and then closes its mouth. The whale then pushes the water out with its tongue while the baleen traps the krill. The whale then consumes the krill without having to swallow all of the seawater. Some whales do and some whales don't like the killer whale eats meat and other fish etc but whales for example the blue whale only eat plankton.
Why do sharks have sharp teeth and humans don't?
Sharks are very dumb creatures, so dumb they think your foot is a fish. They are very un-harmful fish. And if you're scared of them from the movie Jaws, that was the most fake movie that has ever reached my ears.
What makes a shark swim so fast?
Not all sharks swim fast.
The Greenland shark, the Pacific sleeper shark, even the Whale shark are slow swimmers.
On the other side of the scale, the Shortfin Mako shark is the fastest swimmer of all sharks.
Some scientists even suggest that the Shortfin Mako can swim up to 100 km/h, although 50 km/h, with bursts of up to 74 Km/h were recorded, and accepted by marine biologists, for this Mako species.
The reasons for high speed swimming capability of some sharks are many.
The highly hydrodynamic body shape, the temperature of the waters, the feeding habits (to attack and eat fast preys, as well as to escape fast predators), the water pressure of deep-sea habitats, among many other reasons, all determine the swimming speed a shark can achieve.
Waiting for a more exaustive answer to your question, from someone who knows a lot more about sharks that I do, here is my contribution.
Post script:
I almost forgot to mention the very particular texture of shark's skin, which has been used for industrial design of fast vehicules (fighter airplanes, speed record racing cars, and many other applications.)
What does a megalodon shark sound like?
All species of living shark lack vocal chords, so it is highly unlikely that Megalodon was capable of making any sound.
Yes, they do. That is why Tuna ranchers must keep sharks out of their holding pens. Tuna "ranchers" keep juvenile tuna in enormous, very deep nets (pens) which supported by buoys and kept just a few miles off land. The young tuna are trapped in "seine" type nets, moved to the deep nets, fed ( like "feedlots"), and held until reach the desired weight after several months. The tuna are usually fed sardines or other small fish, twice daily, until they are harvested ("killed"). Shark must be kept out of the nets because they will eat the tuna or damage the tuna, which can be worth as much as $173,000 at the fish auctions in Japan. The ranchers are working very hard to "grow" the tuna, like cattle or pigs. Tuna are practically worth their weight in gold.
Do hammerhead sharks eat vegetation?
Only in the Northern parts of the South East stretch of the Indian ocean found near Egypt has this ever been recorded. This is due to the fact that these Sphyrna lewini, or more commonly known as Scalloped hammerhead sharks (the specie of hammerhead sharks found in these waters) have been forced to eat the vegetation in these parts of the world attributed to the reality that most of the fish that use to thrive in these waters have migrated to some parts of the Indian ocean near the coast of West Morocco. Leaving these sharks with no other source of food, although there are still some Protoreaster linckii, also known as the Red-knobbed starfish that frequently fall victim to these shark's ruthless, yet strategically planned, attacks. These poor creatures are number 17 on the WWF list of endangered species.
It has been said that it is no longer living in the seas thet it vanished 1.5 million years ago but there are seas which are not explored so the megalodon could be alive only 1 to two max sharks of that kind but it is 90% sure that it doesn't live any more plus there are alot of creatures unfound in the oceans couse the scared of humanity that there still be living the megalodon and giant creatures they do not explore the sees evean if they do thare is a big chance 85% that the human will die ( Darknes in the ocean which will make the human not see things clearly, the oxigen will ran out , and if he doesent see a shark could attack him and kill him and the last reason they do not search for this things is that they are afraid to "die" ) And about the direct Answer it is only 90-95% That it is dead . the 95 % is theat it doesent live because the size of it is very big my point is that its too big to be unfound so there is a 5% chance that it is still alive .
How are sharks dangerous to dolphins?
The best answer would be in no way do they harm humans. There have been many stories of dolphins saving humans than there have been stories of dolphins hurting humans. If you would like a better answer I suggest you look in a book about dolphins and how they defend themselves.
