I am currently playing Sim City 3000 on my Windows 7 computer, and it installed and plays perfectly, so the answer would be yes!

I've heard but I'm not sure that there's some kind of cheat on www.snootysims.com but i am not sure and i have also heard that there's a mermaid cheat but i am begining to not think the mermaid cheat is so called "true and real" of mader of factly but who knows.I know you can download mermaid sims and i think fairy sims on thesims2.com but i tend to not use it at all and haven't. I have heard that on the bon voage (i think i spelled it wrong) extantion pack that if you go on a vacation and go to the ocean that if you look HARD you MIGHT/PROBLAY find the sim/mermaid or merman. I am going to try this thery and get back here ASAP when i find or don't find the mermaid or merman

Sim City 2000 will not run on Mac OS X. It may run in the Classic environment which was included with older versions of Mac OS X but is not included in the latest versions 10.5 (Leopard) and 10.6 (Snow Leopard). An alternative approach would be software that emulates an older Mac such as SheepShaver (See links below) but either way it will probably take some tweaking to get it running.

First you need to download the mod that you want, from websites such as Simtropolis. Make sure you're downloading mods under SimCity 4.

Windows version only:

Download file > open file > extract all files > My Desktop > Simcity 4 > Plug-ins > extract again.

Note: Mods you download will sometimes come with a "read me" file, just choose one file and extract it if that file is present with the download. Mods will sometimes be messed up or bug filled so avoid the ones which have 3 or 4 stars.

I have a fairly old machine. But simcity 4 deluxe plays good on mine and I have mine heavily loaded with mods. My specs are:

2.0 amd processor, 2gb of ram and a 1600pro ati graphics chip. However this in not and easy question because simcity4 can be very buggy on some machines. certain graphic cards do tend to not play it as good as other.

When your small airport becomes close or over it's max capacity then the transportation adviser will pop-up and ask if you want to upgrade your airport. Well, lots of people have lots of different ways to get to the future. What you want to do is wait until 2070 or 20XX and then replace the large parks with HD Industry and one or two coal plants situated around to spread the pollution.

You need the HD industry because you can only get to the future if 70% is HD, so it's always better to add to that ratio to improve chances, and it adds population aswell, so that's nice.

You should get a message and you should then choose to travel to the future.
