How can you get your chest voice singing higher?
Well I don't know if you can get it higher but this MIGHT work in a REALLY high voice say clearly nine, ninty-nine, nine hundred and ninty-nine, Then repeat in in a VERY low voice. And again in your normal voice. Your voice will change maybe it'll get higher. Try it then try singing. :)
Where is Millie Small now...Is she still singing?
Millie does not seem to have appeared in public since about 1973, although there are rumours she played a small club gig in the 1990s in the North of England. She was interviewed by the Jamaican Gleaner in 2006 when she celebrated her 60th birthday and announced she had recorded new material (6 songs). This was half an album apparently but the album has yet to emerge.
She held a meeting at Trojan records last year (2008). The purpose is not clear but it is probably about the forthcoming Best of Millie compilation which Trojan have scheduled for release in January 2010 (Trojan record little or no new material these days). Rumours of a comeback persist, but Millie remains fairly elusive. Those who have seen her say she still looks great, but no recent photographs appear to have been published anywhere that I can find.

To remove clapping or unwanted background noise from a vocal track in WavePad, you can use the Noise Reduction tool. First, highlight a section of the audio where only the clapping is present, then select "Effect" > "Noise Reduction" > "Get Noise Profile." After that, highlight the entire track and go back to "Noise Reduction," adjusting the settings to minimize the clapping without affecting the vocals too much. You may need to experiment with the settings to achieve the best balance.

Is there a singing career for a 14 year old?
i don't know about career when youre 14 but there are 5 specialist music schools in England which give singing lessons of a very high standard. you have to organise an audition and often you can gain very good scholarships practically eradicating your fees depending on your financial situation...which would be a big step towards a musical career. i go to a specialist music school and its great because you meet more people who you can relate to and you realise who you are up against if you know what i mean. I go to Wells Cathedral School which is the only one which teaches academic subjects as well as music. Don't just concentrate on music and not try with academic subjects, it's important to keep you're options open. after all you're only 14 ;) hope this has helped... You are better off to wait to 'come out' in public to sing when you are 17 or older. The voice up until that age can change. Michael Jackson was performing at a very young age, but he had a high pitched voice and didn't have to alter it too much. There is no reason you can't be a singer, but practice (with a teacher) and prepare yourself first.
Is it normal that when your singing you get a headache?
I've been having this exact same problem. I talked with some professional singers, and they said that they had never heard of anything like it. Where is the pain on your head and at what range does it hurt in? Or does it hurt when you just, in genereal, sing?
Yes, it is true an adult bird sings a song so that the smaller bird will be able to sing it when it matures. This info is from the Biology 20 textbook.

Why does singing play such an important part in Christian worship?
Look in the Psalms, there are several verses abut "shouting to the Lord" or "sing praises to him". But just as much those types of verses as there is dance before him or play music to him. I think the reason singing is so "important" and done so much in the christian faith is because it's something we all know how to do, and it's something we all understand. I personally dance before the Lord like David did because, well that's what David did in the bible. I also sing, shout etc. There is no right or wrong way to worship. The true worship is giving of yourself even if you feel foolish. And true worship is everyday all the time, 24/7. Everything you do should bring glory to God. That is the reason we were created, to bring praise and honor to our King.
Get it?
Should you be embarrassed to sing in front of the boy you love?
