What year did Slovenia become part of the Eurapean union?
The plan was for 2011-2012.
But it would not be materialized.
Reasons:
Economic crisis in Bulgaria and EU as a whole
For entering 'Schengen zone', now EU will scrutinize a lot more than it did in the past with other members (economic crisis)
Some member countries are not so much willing Bulgaria to qualify for Schengen

They should not join the EU. First of all look at Ireland and Greece and all the countries that are bailing them out. Second, small and not so wealthy businesses would go out of business and there would be property tax which some might not be able to afford. Also, Croatia would loose its identity. They would loose their currency and have to use Euros and after fighting a terrible war to become independent it just doesn't make sense for them to join something that could ruin them. Croatia is doing fine on its own.

Croatia is in a bad shape, there is no money, people are poor and want a change. EU can give them that. I'm not saying that all problems will magically disappear when we join EU, but it can't do us harm. And I disagree about loosing identity 'cause, firstly look at Great Britain they still have pounds. EU can help us to get out of this situation because we are sinking down.
