the type of oil used will determine how well the bearing are lubed and also may leave deposits in the combustion chamber, ideally use an oil designed for 2 stroke to minimize deposits and provide superior lubrication, in the old days we used corn oil/cooking oil or castor oil, but with higher output of new engines a higher quality oil designed for the job is recommended.

The answer - no, you don't need to run premium over regular gas unless your engine manufacturer calls to use non-ethanol fuel or if you're having problems using E10. It also depends on what type of small engine you're talking about. E10 will destroy all 2-cycle small lawn equipment or bikes because it strips away of the lubricating effects of the oil. E10 doesn't affect 4 stroke engines as much, but still will degrade fuel system components because of it's high solvency. If you're having problems using E10 I would suggest using Eth-Guard, the complete fuel additive for ethanol problems. Eth-Guard is safe in all engines and does not contain harmful ingredients such as alcohol, MMT, TEL, MTBE or lead. Eth-Guard will lubricate fuel system components (great for 2 cycle), increase the enerfy of the fuel (increasing mileage and performance) and will prevent phase separation in most applicatons.

As you can see many other additives contain harmful ingredients such as excess alcohol, MMT, MTBE and lead. I would not recommend using any of these in E10 as it can destroy vital engine parts, gaskets and seals.

It doesn't matter on your own land or someone else's land with permission. But on trails you have to be 12 to ride alone, but you can't cross roads. When you turn 14 you can cross roads by yourself.
