They are two different units of measurement, CC stands for cubic centimeters and horsepower is one of several units of measurement for how much energy it takes to move a certain weight in a certain amount of time, ie. one horsepower equals one horse pulling a ton of weight 33 feet in twenty seconds.CC is used instead of the old pre metric conversions of cubic inches.

Depending on the carb it could be a stuck float,jammed choke ,jet viberated open, dirty air filter,timming could be off.

1: Do the basic tune up stuff like change the spark plug change the oil clean the carburetor and change the air filter. 2: Use Pennzoil Ultra 10W-30 oil. Do NOT use SAE 30 oil or small engine oil. 3: Adjust the governor screw to allow the engine to rev higher. 4: If all else fails find a slightly longer connecting rod to increase compression. Note: If compression ratio is increased by using a longer connecting rod you must use premium gas. Hope this helps!

un screw the cap from the exhaust tip ( there will probably be three screws, use in Allen wrench to remove them. when you take that of the baffle usually comes out with it cause its connected to the tip. than sart up the quad and it will be wicked loud. i would run it like this for too long tho. it will ruin the engine.

the type of oil used will determine how well the bearing are lubed and also may leave deposits in the combustion chamber, ideally use an oil designed for 2 stroke to minimize deposits and provide superior lubrication, in the old days we used corn oil/cooking oil or castor oil, but with higher output of new engines a higher quality oil designed for the job is recommended.

The answer - no, you don't need to run premium over regular gas unless your engine manufacturer calls to use non-ethanol fuel or if you're having problems using E10. It also depends on what type of small engine you're talking about. E10 will destroy all 2-cycle small lawn equipment or bikes because it strips away of the lubricating effects of the oil. E10 doesn't affect 4 stroke engines as much, but still will degrade fuel system components because of it's high solvency. I suggest looking at your engine's manual to see what the recommended fuel type is or visit www.fueltestkit.com.

If you're having problems using E10 I would suggest using Eth-Guard, the complete fuel additive for ethanol problems. Eth-Guard is safe in all engines and does not contain harmful ingredients such as alcohol, MMT, TEL, MTBE or lead. Eth-Guard will lubricate fuel system components (great for 2 cycle), increase the enerfy of the fuel (increasing mileage and performance) and will prevent phase separation in most applicatons.

As you can see many other additives contain harmful ingredients such as excess alcohol, MMT, MTBE and lead. I would not recommend using any of these in E10 as it can destroy vital engine parts, gaskets and seals.
