Of course. In fact, one large advantage to England during the conflict was that her ships could dash in to local ports and replenish their supplies and ammunition, while the Armada, so far from home, could not. In fact, the running out of ammo and drinking water were major factors in the suffering of the Spanish.

Hawkins and Drake returned their ships to their Queen and received the heroes' welcomes they deserved.

The English sea dogs had smaller faster ships than those belonging to the Spanish Armada. They were able to maneuver them into better positions. Also, the English guns could fire from a longer distance. The sea dogs were also close enough to home ports, they could go back and restock their gunpowder and cannonballs. The Spanish Armada and the crew were already suffering from bad storms and countless deaths from diseases.

Philip disliked and distrusted the colonists, who he saw as interfering in political and religious matters of his people, and put together a tribal alliance with the objective of attacking colonial settlements.

Why might the results of the battle of the spanish Armada increase enthusiasm for English Colonization?

The results of the battle of the Spanish Armada in 1588 might have increased enthusiasm for English colonization because of the dangers that still faced England (or, Great Britain) after the battle was won. Despite the defeat of the Spanish, there were continued hostilities, and the Spanish would continue to plan movements against the English homeland even to the point of inciting religious-based unrest. For some, escape to the New World could easily have seemed a desirable alternative to remaining in harm's way.

Where can you find information on the 1798 Spanish Armada attack on the British settlement in the Bay of Honduras?

I myself cannot give details of the Battle of St. George's Caye as it is popularly known, but see Emory King's History of Belize (3 vols), paper, for details and further references. If I recall correctly, against the Spanish Armada the British and the settlers had 2 frigates and a few floating gut rafts. The Spanish had many deaths due to illness and withdrew leaving the battle outcome a draw. I believe O'Neil was the commander of the Spanish fleet, which then returned to Bacalar in what is now southern Yucatan. There is a contemporary account printed in a Jamaican newspaper which may be cited in King's work.

What happened to the Spanish armada?

It was defeated and many of its ships were sunk in gales on the coasts of Scotland and Ireland.

After declining to attack the British fleet enroute to pick up an army, the Armada anchored at Calais. A night attack scattered the ships and led to a one-sided battle the following day. Most of the Armada could not reach friendly lands, and ships were battered by North Sea storms as they sought to circle westward for their return to Spain. As many as half of its ships were wrecked and many men were captured and killed in Ireland. Still more crewmen were lost to starvation and disease.
