Athens shouldn't go to war with Sparta because they will loose a lot of soldiers.

Sure, you can be sued, but the real question is whether you'd lose!

Your local statutes and cases may vary, so you will want the opinion of an attorney in your area. However, in general, a restrictive covenant should be interpreted strictly against whoever wrote it. If they meant to say "building" but said "dwelling" then only a dwelling would violate the covenant, not an office building or a barn. On the other hand, there may have been other "course of dealing" or local customs, or other local laws that would lean toward protection of a view regardless of strict interpretation of the covenant.

For example, if nearly the entire value of a property is tied to the view, then a local court will be reluctant to diminish that value by allowing an encroachment.

In other places, if the zoning ordinance or deed doesn't restrict what can be built, then build whatever you want and let them pay to force you to tear it down, if they have the time and money to do so.

King leonidas was the king of Sparta who led the famous 300 Spartans into battle agains the Persian army at Thermopolae in around 480bc. the Persian army was one of the biggest armys the ancient world had ever seen and was thought to consist of all the worlds warriors. the odds were tremendous but king leonidas and his 300 men managed to hold the Persians off for 4 days before sacrifising them selves to Sparta.

In Athens it was carried out by the family, in Sparta it was done by appointed supervisors.

There were many reasons for the wars between the Greek States and Persia, one of which would be the fact that Sparta had to protect its' state against the invaders. Secondly, you have to remember that Sparta had valuable allies, allies which it had to assist - if Sparta hadn't, many of it's allies would naturally leave the Peloponnesian league and join Athens' Empire, leaving Sparta even more vulnerable.

Thucydides only writes that the Corinthians were the first Greeks who had built triremes, not that they had invented them.

The Persian punitive expedition against Athens went home. Persia then decided to bring all the Greek city-states in mainland Greece within its empire to stop them supporting rebellions in Asia Minor. It mounted a full scale invasion ten years later, which was repelled by a combination of the southern Greek cities. This too was repelled, and then after thirty years of further warfare Persia gave up and a peace was agreed.
