It is possible but not very likely. Implantation bleeding would occur after ovulation, which is more than a week after most periods end. For implantation bleeding to happen, you would have had to ovulate first, and afterwards it would have to be around a week before you see any spotting.

If your periods are irregular then it is still possible, since you could have ovulated during the last days of your period. However, if you have some extra stuff like brown discharge coming out this soon after your period has ended, it's probably old blood and isn't much to worry about.

Hi I took a e.p.t like a lil over a week before my period was even due,it was the + or - kind.Well I looked at it after 10 minutes and it still was -.I looked at it again 30 or 35 minutes later and it showed a faint +.It wasnt so faint you couldn't see it,it was definatly a +.I didnt know if I should trust that result (took it 1/15/05) so I went to the doctor 1/19/05and surley it came out a bright pink line.I am 6 weeks now.So its always good that any faint line should be checked into.I hope I helped.

On the box of the test it usually tells you not to read your answer after 10 minutes. You should read your answer with in the first 3 minutes after you get a confirmation in the results window.

If you are having a period, you probably aren't pregnant. And a heavy period isn't a sign of pregnancy, but a light period can be.

My sister's period came on with each of her 3 children, and it wasn't spotting either. I'm not sure why yours is heavy, but for sure women can receive a normal period and still be pregnant. Be sure to check with your OB/GYN. Good Luck.

chances are, if you were three weeks into pregnancy and start to menstruate, this means you've miscarried in between those three weeks meaning that now the fetus is being flushed. if trying to conceive a child, it is highly recommended after a miscarriage that you wait about one month to start trying again so you're body is completely healed and all of the bad eggs have been flushed including the dead fetus.

This could be caused from sexual relations because your body is now pumping extra blood to for your pregnancy you may get a brown or even pinkish spotting it is very common to have spotting dureing the first 12 to 14 weeks of prgnancy. If this dose continue and you begin to have a heavy flow and or cramping consult your doctor. It may even make you feel better to talk to your doctor about this.

It is related to hormonal fluctuations- progesterone and estrogen changes. It could be many different causes however. It could possibly be early stages of menopause, but it could also be related to pregnancy, new birth control, medications, increase in stress/sleep disturbance, and more. A doctor can give you a injection to slow down bleeding but this is usually only given during a very very heavy bleed during a miscarriage. If I understand correctly your periods have been 2-3 weeks apart. It is very unlikely you are pregnant. Most women ovulate 2 weeks before a period. If your periods continue coming so close together go to the doctor as you may be bleeding excessively.
