The answer is yes. You should have a pregnancy test. Are you using birth control? If you are using birth control, have you been using it correctly? Do you know how to use it correctly? You most likely are having issues with first trimester pregnancy FUN! I would call your OB just to be on the safe side because you need your mind at rest. Intercourse can cause spotting too, but remember that brown is old blood. I did this with both of my pregnancies, and so far this one is going well. My son is a healthy four year old. i miscarried at 12 weeks and my baby was about 3 inches or so...it looked almost like a normal baby except much smaller and its ears wernt in the right spot yet and it had transparent skin. but it had eyes, ears. mouth, nose, fingers, toes, knuckles...etc.

I'm sure it can feel different for different people but for me it was severe cramping in the middle of my lower abdomen, right where my uterus is. If you think your having a miscarriage the best thing you can do is go see your Dr or go to the er.

Miscarriages that occurs in the first trimester is usually due to something wrong with the fetus and in week 6 the heart starts to beat regularly. That could be one reason if there was something wrong with it but the miscarriage could've happened earlier but just hadn't come out yet.

Hey there i seriously didnt notice any spotting or cramping when i became pregnant, the only thing i did notice was that i began falling asleep during the day at work, i had no other symptoms whatsoever so it was a complete shock to find out i was pregnant, now I am 19 weeks and feel baby kicking all the time, its wonderful. hello,i would like to tell you that a clear discharge is not bad.i have it a few days before i start my periode,once at a checkup a doctor told me that's normal for the body to change over the years and a discharge that is clear no oder is harmless.but if you still worry go see your doctor and hear it for yourself

Go straight to the Early Pregnancy Unit at your local hospital or to A&E, so they can check it is all ok, I had this and misscarried but it is not neccessarily the same thing as it could be your body getting used to the pregnancy and the muscles stretching as your baby grows.. good luck (:

I am a 22 year old. I am the "rh factor" I have A- blood type and I need the Rhogam injection while pregnant and after an abortion, miscarriage, etc. I have had one abortion in December 2005. I miscarried my second in June 2006. I am sharing my experience with women because I feel it's important for us to share these types of experiences. Experiencing a miscarriage can be an extremely scary, emotional, stressful time. This is my miscarriage story: I never felt pregnant through this entire pregnancy. My first pregnancy, I felt pregnancy symptoms VERY STRONGLY! ie. morning sickness, tender breasts, etc. (DAYS OF SPOTTING/BLEEDING) (DAY 1) - I was 6 weeks pregnant when I began to spot. This happened just before going to bed after going to the bathroom when I wiped. This was a brown mucus type of "old blood" and there was very little of it. (DAY 2) - I didn't think much of the spotting until the next morning when the spotting continued and was getting to be more like my period became a red blood and the amount increased. (DAY 3) - I went to the emergency room. At this point, I was feeling the stress, fear of loss, and was anxious to find out what was happening. I was also very nervous. I was finally examined by a doctor approximately 6 hours after I had registered in the ER. She explained that bleeding while pregnant is a very common thing and 50% of women that come in have no need for concern they will carry and deliver a healthy baby. However, not every woman is so luckily, some indeed will miscarry. There is nothing they can do to prevent the miscarriage from occuring. She got an order for blood work to check my blood type and levels and an ultrasound for the next day. The blood work showed A- and I got a shot of Rhogam. The levels appeared to be normal (I think 1500 hcg). (DAY 4) - 6.3 weeks. I went for my ultrasound (regular and transvaginal). They found everything to be in FANTASTIC shape (baby was a good size everything looked "right". I saw the baby's heartbeat (133bpm). Everything was where it was supposed to be. Except they couldn't see the cause of bleeding. The person preforming the ultrasound told me to watch things and if they get worse to go the the ER A.S.A.P. I then went to the ER to speak with the doctor about the results. She said that the result looked good. The baby was alive, good size, good heartbeat. But she did say that the risk of miscarriage was still there. She also said that no physical activity would affect the pregnancy, so I didn't need bed rest. I was to keep doing what I was doing. (DAY 5 to 10) - I continued to bleed everyday. It bled heavier. The colour was bright red and near day 9-10 I experienced some mid-sized clots (Canadian dime sized) cramping began around day 6-10 and got severe at times. The pain was never exruiating. (DAY 11) - I go back to the ER because of the heavy bleeding and now clots. I get blood work done and urine sample. I see a doctor. She examines my cervix which appeared closed. She gets the results of the blood work. My hcg dropped to 25. She told me that I indeed had been experiencing a miscarriage. I admit that deep in my heart I already knew so the news didn't come as a shock. My body was telling me prior to the baby's heartbeat stopping by not showing me any of the symptoms I had during my first pregnancy. She gave me the number of a ob to call if the bleeding got worse ("filling a pad an hour"). She said it's normal to bleed for around two weeks. They didn't do an ultrasound this time. They just went with the blood levels. Since this was an early pregnancy she said that I would pass things naturally. So no D&C would be required, unless I experienced complications (heavier bleeding). As well, since I already received the rhogam injection at 6.3 weeks, even though I miscarried I didn't need another because it is effective for 12 weeks (this was according to my DR.) (DAY 12) - The bleeding has slowed down considerably and I am back to spotting again. I am not even filling a pad today. Cramps are still present I wish all of you the very best. A.B. If you know for sure that you are pregnant, it is probably not going to be your period, although some women have experienced a "first" period then learns a couple of weeks later that they really are pregnant. it could be Implantation bleeding which is a sign of pregnancy doesn't always mean your pregnant though. I think you maybe pregnant more days your late the more chance your pregnant go take a pregnancy test

if one test came out positive you are pregnant..if none came back positive and you still haven't gotten your period then get to your doctor for a blood test which is 100% accurate hope everything works out for you Good Lucka nd God Bless!~!

Whether pregnant or not, 6 weeks is approximately 1.5 months.

There is always a possibility however, your description also have symptoms of a UTI or STD - it is best to get tested.

Hello. No this doesn't mean its a miscarriage hun. Miscarriage bleeding is usually heavy, red and very painful cramping. Its most likely early pregnancy spotting or spotting due to a UTI.
