Minor cramping is normal they attribute that to the egg just settling in and cervical changes as long as there is no blood with the cramps. If there are major cramps or blood than you should go to the hospital to see if you and your baby is OK. :)

Don't worry unless there is bright red blood. The pinkish version is very common in the first trimester, even cramping. Just in case, though, keep pointing this out to your doctor and don't overexert yourself physically until you have reached the second trimester.

If it is just a pink-tinted discharge, it is most likely not a miscarriage, especially if your doctor says everything is fine. Don't stress over it unless you have a sudden and PAINFUL bout of cramping and/or lower back pain and heavy bright red bleeding. The bleeding may be accompanied by clots, small or larger depending on how far along you are. During pregnancy your cervix and vagina are more engorged and filled with blood. If you recently had sex and then had the pink discharge, this is absolutely normal. Any abrasion to the cervix could cause a pink discharge. Just try to take it easy and monitor your stress level and make sure you take your prenatal vitamins. Keep your doctor posted if there are any changes.

I can only speak from my experience here. At about 3 months pregnant with my first child I found 3 drops of bright red blood on my panties and I left work immediately and went to the emergency room. There was nothing wrong and now my baby is a healthy 9 year old boy. Always take bleeding seriously in pregnancy but if the doctor says your baby is fine then just have hope and faith he is because stress is an awful thing for mommies-to-be to carry around.

Its probably normal but if it deepens in color then maybe see a doctor.

It can be anything from bright red to dark brown. the redder the blood the newer it is. If you have more then what a panty liner would absorb call your Dr. it is normal but is always good to check in and they can double check to make sure nothing is wrong.

I am currently 11 weeks 3 days pregnant. I have two children and have had a miscarriage in May 09 at 8.5 weeks. I have had two episodes of spotting this pregnancy. Both times light brown and accompanied with pain in the area of my uterus and in my back also. I went for a scan both times one at 6 weeks the other at 8 weeks as I had a previous miscarriage. Both scans showed an embryo, which measured exactly as it should have for dates and had a strong heartbeat. I only spotted each time for a 24 hr period and it was not caused by intercourse as I had not had any. Apparently because it was brown it means it is old blood and I was told it is very common. However. Do not dismiss brown blood. My May 09' miscarriage began with light brown blood which then turned peachy/light pink coloured and eventually red but as it was a 'missed miscarriage' it took 2 weeks to find out id had a miscarriage and the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks.

I would take a pregnancy test, as spotting is very common in early pregnancy- especially at the time when you would have gotten your period. I've been spotting for five days since I should have gotten my period and I tested positive three days ago.

well i am a surgeon and was a doctor for twenty seven years. From my studies it maybe be that the vagina hasen't been cleaned as often as need be,if the discharge is thick then you may have a bad yeast infection.

it could mean anthing and could just be normal spotting which happens to everyone once in a while, your pill could be affecting this to, if you were acctive, it could be implanain bleeding which occurs about 5 days after possible conception though it is often mistaken for a period it is not you can define it by it will probably be shorter and lighter and a piny or a brownish colour

how far along are you? If you are several weeks, most of the time you can't ever tell unless you are cramping, and passing clots. That is the way it was when I had my miscarriages at only 9weeks.

All I can say is, if you're worried, then go to your doctor or the hospital.
