How do you remove the fuel pump on a 2002 suzuki aerio?
The fuel pump is located inside the gas tank. You will need to drop the gas tank to access it. How I did it today, was I first disconnected the battery. Lifted the rear end onto jack stands. Lowered the exhaust pipe to the ground by removing one end of the rubber staps all the way to the cataletic converter. Using a Jack, try to center it securly in the center of the tank. Disconnect the fuel lines right under fuel tank on the driver side. Disconnect hoses coning from the Gas fillup access. Remove Tank straps and carfeully lower. I was able to access the fuel pump by only lowering the driver side of the tank keeping the passager side of the tank lifted.
How do you replace alternator 2002 suzuki aerio?
It's a job you need an experienced mechanic for. First you need to disconnect the battery. There's a protective cover inside the front passenger wheel that has to come off. The alternator has a serpentine belt that connects to it so that has to be loosened (a tricky job in itself). All the connections to the alternator should be disconnected and ideally marked for replacement. Reverse the process to install the new one. It's really a tight fit to get to the belt and alternator. I've replaced a belt on one and it took a lot of time and a great deal of patience . I did it on the ground with no lift so that added to the problem.

How do you change the brake pads on a 2003 Suzuki Aerio?
First put your handbrake on to prevent a rollaway. Then loosen your lugnuts but dont take them off. jack up one side of the car and put something under it i.e. a concrete block or a jackstand. back the lugnuts off the rest of the way and remove the wheel. This may take some force they tend to get a little stuck on these cars. The on the backside of the calipers ( the part holding the pads against the rotors) there will be two bolts one high and one low going into studs with rubber boots on them. Remove those two bolts, lift the caliper off. Then take off one of the pads and match it up with the new pads. Shim if needed (if old ones have them put new shims in). then put the new pad back in. Do the same to the other pad. Then you will need a C clamp of some kind to depress the piston in the caliper. After depressed place the caliper back into its original position and replace the bolts, your wheel, snug up the lug nuts, remove your stand, lower the jack, and tighten up the lugnuts the rest of the way, and your finished. Just repeat on opposite side.

How do you replace the thermostat in a 2002 suzuki aerio?
Before you begin working in here remember the radiator is very soft and bumping it will cause lots of damage. Start by getting a 10mm socket and a short extension, remove the screws and two front clips from the engine undercover, disconnect the right fan, and remove the fan assembly. Now that the fan is out of the way you can easily see the radiator drain at the bottom of the radiator. Put a pan under it and slowly open the valve which will drain coolant straight down from that fitting. Do not completely remove the valve. It will now be advisable to open the radiator cap. Now remove the hose from the thermostat housing, and remove the three 10mm fasteners. The cover will come off and you can remove the thermostat which might be a little stuck but will come off cleanly if wiggled. I would recommend replacing all the hardware and would suggest cleaning the threads on the thermostat because its and aluminum housing and steel screws with a burr from handling will chew up your engine parts. The torque value for the thermostat screws from Suzuki is 10nm, and once again clean screws are a good idea for proper fastening. Put the hose back on , install the fan and connect it, and then refill the cooling system.
How do you change your aerio automatic transmission fluid?
You will need to take your Suzuki a dealer or a shop that specializes in changing the fluid. From what I was told they stick a hose down where you fill it up at and suck the old out. They then pump new into it. I've seen them charge around $60 but that was on a big vehicle.

When should a timing belt on a 2004 Suzuki Aerio be changed?
its a chain not a belt....
True. So unless it breaks, you don't have to change it.
If it is automatic, you should be putting the manufacturer recommended ATF (automatic transmission fluid) into it, NOT gear oil. There will be a plug on the bottom somewhere to drain it, and you will likely fill it from the dipstick tube in the engine compartment. Check your owners manual, or find it online, or call and ask a dealer about what you should be putting in the transmission and where.
