What are opinions on Sweepstakes Clearing House in Dallas Texas?

I was thinking of ordering from them myself but then decided to do some internet research and found many complaints of shoddy products, etc. I WAS going to order a 42" big screen. I managed to find some information at hellodallas.com including this number that you might be able to contact the company at: 214-915-7100, assuming it's not a fraudulent contact number. Glad to help.

Total scam. I received a $400 voucher for a laptop computer. Sent them $296 cash and in return they sent me a rundown refurbished notepad that did not work. Do not do business withe these con artists.

Which is better to visit Dallas or Houston?

Both Dallas and Houston have good reasons for visiting, but nobody else can tell you which is best. It is all a matter of taste than anything else. Personally, I'm not a city person, so I have neither on my list of places to go. If I had to pick, though, it would probably be to visit the Houston area - not necessarily the city itself.

For me, I like the water. The Dallas area has Lake Grapevine - an artificial lake. But lakes are not my thing. Houston has Galvaston Bay, and beyond that, the Gulf of Mexico. There is great fishing nearby, and many charter or head boats to take you out to where the fish are. There is also a shrimping industry. But what is really nice is the huge number of seafood restaurants that get their seafood right from the boats. Having been a professional fisherman, I have to tell you that there is nothing like seafood right off the boat!

Hurricaines are something of an issue around Houston, and Galvaston Island was hit hard a little while back. But they are recovering, and I'm sure they would appreciate tourism making its way there. The beaches used to be great. I assume they still are.

There is also the Johnson Space Center in the area, and there used to be "the largest honkey-tonk" - Gilly's. But that has now closed, though I guess the name was sold and there seem to be several honky-tonks of that name.

In the Dallas area, there is Billy Bobs. It is an indoor rodeo, and they also provide you with bull riding experineces. I know that the Dallas area has good restaurants and places to go. But for me, I was always in Dallas on business, and didn't seem to find much I could do for fun other than eating. Billy Bobs is actually in Ft Worth, and the stockyards are right there. I believe there are also tours done of the South Fork ranch from the Dallas TV show.
