How do you find the location of the flasher fuse in a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais?
the library should have a shop manual for this vehicle, you can make copies of the right sections :)
Does the 2000-2001 Infinity I30 have a Timing Belt or Timing Chain?
The 2000-2001 Infiniti I30 engine (vq 30 de) has a timing chain. There is no scheduled maintenance for the chain as it does not require periodic adjustment. These timing chains are purported to last around 300,000 miles.
Also these engines are not interference engines. They do no internal damage if timing chain breaks.
There was an answer posted about a Ford Escape, but it doesn't get to the Sequoia problem. I spent two weeks on the wiring issue, and here is the answer: I called Toyota USA and asked them to tell me where was the wire described in the manual. There isn't one. They don't know why they put that there, and it has been there since the 2003 model, but the said I could buy an after market piece. They are wrong. They simply assume that some aftermarket company makes them. But you can't buy the piece, you have to buy the entire towing wiring harness that runs from the battery back, disconnect the piece on the end near the tow hitch, and I guess, throw the rest away. They did this because they sell the towing package as a factory unit, and if you don't buy the factory unit new, they don't want you to be able to simply slap on the piece and save a couple hundred. Apparently, it's easier to install the whole wire, destroy the end piece and sell it as a non Limited Edition. The wiring harness is NOT sold except as a FULL UNIT. I tried with multiple dealers, wiring shops, nada. Getting the end piece from a wrecked Limited is a good idea, but they are near impossible to find. They also left out the fuse in the front, but you can get that at the dealer, it just snaps in. BUT THERE IS A WORK AROUND!!! Finally located a dealer that sells an add on unit that snaps into the turn signals. It's for the 2003, but it works on the 2004. It was the only way I could get towing lights. Look under 2003 part numbers. It does NOT snap into the junction that is underneath the chassis by the passenger rear wheel described in the manual. It must be installed in the turn signals.
89 GP fuel door doesnt open it has a lever inside car to pop open fuel door is there a fix?
See if you can get access to the gas door by removing the lining/carpet in the trunk. Chances are the cable may have become unhooked there or needs adjustment. I hope this helps you. Mark
Is there anyway to make the rear windows roll all the way down?
If they are not designed to roll all the way down, NO! you need to aquire door guts that allow the window to roll all the way down. this might not be a simple task but it is possible with the right tools and knowledge. And remember if you get the parts from a salavge yard make sure they roll down as far as you like. Also remember to get some door panel clips because you are likely to strip or break the old ones when pulling off the door panel....after a few screws are removed first. The window cannot go all the way down because the door is shaped to accomodate the rear wheel opening. It's designed that way. I've never heard of "door guts".
How do you get to the tail light bulbs to change them in a 1996 Chevy Corsica?
On the 96 Corsica the tail lights, reverse lights, sidemarkers, and license plate lights are contained in one module. To remove the module, open the trunk and pull back the felt against the back. There should be three large plastic wingnuts and two small ones. Remove the three large wingnuts and pull the entire light module straight out from the rear of the car. The bulb sockets just twist and lock in place.
I recently changed tail light bulbs in 1994 Corsica there were plastic knob kind of nuts on the bolts inside the trunk about 6 to 8 of them, just remove them push out the bolts to open and replace the bulbs. I don't know if 1996 has a different kind of assembly.
How do you replace a broken rear door handle on a 2004 Toyota Sequoia?
To replace the broken handle you will first need to remove the broken piece using a screwdriver. Once the broken handle is removed place the new one in it's place and screw in.
