How does a hinged cam walker work and aid during Achilles tendon healing?
I have experience with the VACOcast Achilles boot (www.vacocast.com) which is hinged and can be fixed in 30 or 15 degrees of plantar flexion (toes pointing downward in order to reduce tension on the Achilles tendon). When the ankle is fixed in plantar flexion, also known as equinus, it allows the injury to heal without risk of rupture or re-rupture. As the tendon heals, the orthopedic surgeon will gradually reduce the amount of equinus until the ankle is at neutral, or 90 degrees. This safely increases the amount of tension and avoids unwanted shortening of the Achilles tendon.

What greek city state created democracy?
Athens. A Democracy meant rule by many and this was FOR SURE by many. Every citizen voted and 500 names were drawn. these 500 people drawn were chosen to serve for 1 year as lawmakers over Athens. Men were the only ones considered citizens, so women, children, and slaves COULD NOT vote.
Odysseus was a great Greek Leader from the Trojan War. He was a character in the Iliad, and the hero of Homer's epic poem ''Odyssey''.
King Odysseus was king of the Island of Ithaca, of the east coast of Greece. He was an exceptional Hero for the Greeks, always thought of as the most cunning of heroes, using his mind over matter. Famously he fought at the Siege of Troy, though he was eventually injured and had to withdraw to his ship (as described in Homer's Iliad). Later, he came up with the plan for the 'Trojan Horse', and led the Greek warriors into the city, hidden inside the giant wooden horse. This feat eventually won the Greeks the war. On his way home across the Aegean, he was blown off course, going through tremendous physical and emotional hardship, including going deep into the underworld and meeting the soul of his recently deceased mother, Anticleia. He eventually returns home and slaughters all of the suitors come to marry his wife (it took 10 years for Odysseus to return home after the siege had ended).
I presume you mean the ancient city of Troy, as in "Helen of..." If this is your question it is thought to be in Turkey. Near the coast on the western part of Asia Minor. Because of the change in climate and the river near Troy silting up, the city is now several miles inland, not on the coast as mentioned in Homer's story of Troy.
