Yes, depending on make,model year, some are easier than others. For example GM makes a supercharger kit for the 2.2/2.5L ecotec engine.

You would need to use the engine, computer, exhaust, and wiring harnesses from the non turbo.

The PCV valve is located on the passenger side of the vehicle about center of the air collector system cover. It's right on top and easy to see and replace. Just remove the hose connected to it and screw the valve out of the intake manifold. Install is the reverse. You may want to check the valve first before replacing it. To do this, just remove the ventilation hose attached it and start the engine. If you hear a hissing sound coming from the valve while the engine is running, the valve is good. Also, if you place your finger over the mouth of the valve you should feel a strong vaccum pull. That would also signify a working valve.

Mostly a guessing game. Was the head gasket installed by a professional shop or private individual? If by shop, normally, they would have checked the cylinder walls for cracks through which the coolant can enter the cylinder and combust with the fuel/air mixture and exit through the exhaust system. In that case the car will produce a sweet smelling white smoke from the exhaust. If you can, have the cooling system pressure tested. Once up to peak operating pressure the gage should stay for a few minutes at that peak psi. If it drops, then it is pushing coolant out of the cooling system, then its a matter of finding the whereabouts of the exiting coolant. Check the oil and make sure the coolant is not mixing with the engine oil, if it does the oil will be thick and brown, resembling mud.

You can put a Turbo on your 1992 engine. You will need to purchase a air intake Turbo modification kit.

A turbocharger consists of two fans on the same axle. The exhaust gasses pass by one of the fans and gets it spinning. Then the other fan on the same axle also starts to spin, and that fan is used to blow more air into the engine. With more air going in the engine can also take more fuel, and with more fuel burned the engine makes more power.

your intake manifold gasket is cracked...replace it and you should be fine...if it continues you may have a bigger problem

Haha. Well! Your in luck! I have a 1995 Mercury Cougar XR-7 We both (You and I) own Supercoupe cars! The V6 supercoupes used an Eaton M90 Supercharger, But for the 4.6 Litre engines, I am planning on using a Kenne Bell Supercharger That fits flush with the stock hood! Check it out!

Cold air intake (like a K&N) reduces intake restriction, and aftermarket exhaust will help with back pressure, and a programmer. Other mpg basic improvements like maintaining proper tire pressures and not speeding will help with fuel economy.

93 Octane ONLY. Turbochargers provide high compression. 93 Octane provides combustion at a higher compression. I personally prefer BP Gasoline for it's high quality and lack of water. Shell is also good gas but it's cleaning chemicals tend to attract water.

The easiest way is to buy a kit already designed for your motor/vehicle. If not avail. you could get one for your motor(not the same vehicle) and modify it to work. Normally this is mainly clearance issues. Build/have one built for you, can get expensive.

No it dosent but fix it ir replace because the air and fuel ration is the key to cumbustion and a faulty turbo is less air/oxygen to the fuel which means your engine wont properly burn the fuel which means you can mess up your engine bad

There are three general types of supercharger. Roots, screw, and centifual. They are all belt driven. Both the screw and roots bolt directly to the manifold. Where as a centrifugal is not. Also a centrifugal psi output increases in direct relation to engine RPM. Screw and roots generally produce peak psi mid way through the rpm range, but are more stressful on the engine.

A BOV can basically go anywhere between the turbo and the intake manifold. It is usually after the intercooler (if you have one) as far as I know.

you open all the injector lines at the injectors . Then pump the fuel pump primer on the fuel pump . fuel will flow out one or more of the injector line , close the injector line and roll the engine over until the next injector start to flow fuel and so on , why are you having problems

Need more info.- make / model / engine... Could be a leaking seal in a turbo, leaking / blown intake plenum gasket, fault crankcase vent valve, etc.

Vanes inside a turbocharger control the acceleration of gases inside the turbo and thus the speed at which the turbocharger itself can accelerate the compressor and produce boost. Tight vanes produce a quick spooling turbo with little lag but one that can quickly choke the engine at higher speeds. This is because the engine is trying to push to much exhaust through the turbo and the vanes are constricting it. Wider spaced vanes can allow a turbo to have more top end capability but at the expense of spool time (otherwise known as turbo lag).

With a variable vane turbo the vanes themselves can be adjusted on the fly allowing the turbo to spool quickly and still be able to produce good efficiency at higher engine speeds. The technology has been about for a few years in diesel engines but has been slow in coming to gasoline engines due to increased exhaust temperatures found in gasoline engines. These increased temperatures cause lower rates of reliability. The technology has been used in gasoline engines most recently in the 2006-2007 Porsche 911.
