When you tweet something, if you account is not protected, then anyone can see anything. Your tweets will come up in your followers' timelines (home pages/newsfeeds, whatever terms you prefer). If you want to tweet something to someone then type the "@" and their username next to it. Then it will go under their mentions tab and they will see that you tweeted at them. Hope this helps!

You can DM all people on Twitter. The problem with DM'ing some people is because they have not yet followed you. Until a person follows you back you will remain unable to DM them. Once they have followed you back you can do both public (@) and private (DM) conversations. Unless, of course, they stop following you for whatever reason. The moment they do that you no longer will be able to DM them. Good reason to maintain Twitter etiquette and playing nice on Twitter else you be unfollowed. Or worse, even blocked. If you receive to many blocks your Twitter account can actually be suspended. All part of the way the world works on Twitter.

It could be a problem with Twitter itself, or it could be a problem with your computer. If you are a certain age, your parents might have put a security filter on websites, to block certain sites for social networking etc if they think it could be dangerous for you.

i have forgotten my password for twitter but i have also forgot what email account i have used to register into the website so i cant get onto it. could anyone please tell me how to change the email i used to register with to another email WITHOUT logging in so i can then change the password (if that makes sense)? i would really appreaciate it :-)))

They simply don't let them in. When they arrive by boat, plane or bicycle, the country will gladly pay for their fare, fuel, or tires to send them right back where they came from. It's cost effective over time for them. Most countries are not as free thinking as the US. In other words, you wind up in jail or arrested and they have two set of laws, one for citizens and one for aliens. Word gets out pretty quickly.
I steel this idea from the Pheonix Arizona sherriff. When the immigrants are caught, we shave their heads, male or female, set up camps and tents in nearby farm communities and put them to work for 1 month. After a month of free labor we put them on buses and planes back where they came from. They've paid for their tickets back. Finally, if they committ a crime in the US they're sentenced to twice the regular jail sentence if they are in this country illegally. Make it a constitutional ammendment. The crime wave along the borders of the country and within the cities all over this country is a disgrace.
