Who was the Virginia Tech killer?

== == Seung-Hui Cho was the Virginia Tech student who went on a shooting rampage (now known as the Virginia Tech Massacre), killing 32 individuals and wounding 25 others.

I was there, I was actually at school when it happened, and my dad used to work in Virginia Tech, and he worked in the building across from the shooting. It was sooo scary, because our school was half a mile away from Virginia Tech, and if you go there, you can see memories of them, like pictures and stuff. So sad! What interior threats to freedom did St. Ignatius of Loyola have to hurdle?

Roman Catholic AnswerIgnatius led a rather wild life in his youth, as he was brought up at Court, although he had no official function there. After that he went into the army and was wounded severely and had to undergo several very painful operations to restore the use of his leg. During his convalescence he did a lot of reading, mostly of a religious nature as that is all that could be found and he found himself day dreaming of adventures and ladies. It was only when he was day dreaming about rivaling the saints in virtue that he was satisfied, all the other dreams left him dissatisfied. As he had been a very careful youth, and then young man in the world, I imagine that his settling on a religious vocation curtailed his freedom quite a lot.

When did riverside school of aeronautics in Utica NY close and why?

I graduated from Riverside School of Aeronautics in July 1990. At that time they were moving to another location. I don't think they lasted more than a year or so at that location. Not sure of an accurate reason. Rumors at the time of legal problems.

I was a student at the time of it's closure. Riverside was shut down by the FAA for violating it's mandatory curriculum standards as well as other shady business practices. The family transferred assets to their son who then opened Pompano Academy of Aeronautics which also was shut down by the FAA for the same reasons.

In the end the Department of Education forgave most of us our student loans and we were able to start fresh elsewhere.

What SAT score and ACT score and general average is required to get into Loyola University in Maryland?

The University publishes an admissions profile every year with this and other helpful information.

For 2013-2014:

*midrange SAT scores were 1140-1300

*midrange ACT scores were 25-30

*midrange GPA was 3.3-3.8

The midrange is the range in which the middle 50% of the class can be found, meaning 1/4 of admitted students were higher, and 1/4 were lower. It gives a good target range to know what they are looking for.

If the two vectors are in the form: P = ai + bj, and Q = ci + dj

Then the resultant vector is (a + c)i + (b + d)jand the magnitude is:

sqrt((a +c)2 + (b + d)2)

If 3 dimensional, then the k components are added then squared and added to the i & j components, before taking the square root.
