If you are one of Jehovah's Witnesses then it doesn't seem possible for you to join ROTC whether your father is an elder or not. His eldership doesn't come into the equation.

If you are not a Jehovah's Witness then you have to do what you feel is best for yourself and your long term future as you see it. Again, your father's eldership shouldn't come into it. He will stand on his own two feet the same as you will have to do.

Can you attend the naval academy with crohn's disease?
You could, but that would depend on the severity of your disease and the assessment made by the chief medical officer (flight surgeon). If your symptoms are non existent at the time of enlistment and are well controlled with medication it is possible. You would need to talk with academy recruitment officers.
