Pay is based on where you work. I live in New York and I found that hospitals and private practices pay the least and SNF pay the most. A hospital in NY average pay is 38K, a private practice in sport medicine anywhere from 38K to 45K and a SNF can pay around 48K and higher based on experience. Everything is negotiable of course.
Why were there only 65 members in the original house of representatives?
Representatives, as opposed to Senators, are based on population. Senators are simply assigned 2 per State. Section 2 of Article II of the US Constitution provides that for every 30,000 people, a State will receive one representative (though every state has at least one representative). Since they did not have a census yet to calculate population, the States simply agreed within the Constitution (same section) on the distribution of representatives for each state, with the total of 65 people. The first census, pursuant to the Constitution, was to take place within 3 years of adoption, at which time the appropriate number of representatives would actually be established. That probably means, for instance, if you looked at the population of Virginia at the time, which received 10 initial representatives, that its population was in the vicinity of 300,000 at the time. Rhode Island was probably 30,000 or less. Though until the first census, it was just a guess.
How often do voters elect members of the Senate?
A Senator holds his/her seat for six years, but elections are held every two years. This process divides the Senate into three groups, resulting in the reelection of one of the three groups (one-third of the Senate) at a time. By doing so, the Senate is sure to maintain experienced senators as new ones (aka "Freshmen Senators") replace the old ones.
I believe the elections are staggered because the Founding Fathers were concerned about the possibility of replacing all seasoned Senators with totally new ones, something that may have been more feasible when the country had only 13 states (26 senators).

The main way to get people to share ideas is to create an environment where people feel comfortable sharing ideas and don't feel that they will be ignored, ridiculed or their ideas will be stolen. If this is in a company setting you need to provide your employees with an environment where they feel their ideas will be taken seriously. 1) Share stories how other people's ideas have been implemented, get people to share their own idea stories. 2) Make it easy to share ideas i.e. a simple process to submit ideas 3) Acknowledge people that share ideas i.e. post a newsletter or blog with ideas that have been shared. 4) Create a proven track record of taking ideas from concept to implmentation. 5) Follow up on idea suggestions, even if it won't be implemented, make sure to follow up with people about the ideas they submitted. 6) Incentives for sharing ideas are not essential, but some companies give the innovators a share of profits and credit when the ideas go public. Most people just want recognition. These are just a few of the ways to get people to share ideas. Fostering a creative environment is the first step to an innovative company.
