I use this program: Aunsoft SWF Converter to convert flash files.

It depends on how much money you are ready to spend. You can get a not bad video card with 256 Mb. But if you want to work efficiently it's better you have at least 512 SLI (1024 together). The best and most expensive is 1024 Mb vido cards which are create for video editing and gaming. It can cost as much as $700-1000 depending on brand and type.

You need a videocapture card. There are a lot available these days, and you can find one that has a right price. Connect your VCR to the video capture card, start the recording software, start the VCR, it is as simple as that. Four years ago you needed to have a really powerful computer to be able to do that, however these days, any average computer would be able to host this process.

you can save videos by adding them to your favorites folder, then send them in an attachment in an e-mail to yourslef and then open the attachments and save them on your computer somewhere and you can watch them back!

If there is no available option to save videos off Internet, you can also use a 3rd party streaming video recorder to immediately download the video from sites, you are supposed to reocrd any videos from Youtube, dailymotion, metacafe, megavideo,etc.

What's more, you can convert the video to intended format for playback on desired devices like iPod, iPhone, blackberry, Apple Tv,etc and even audio format

Smoothy Mcgyver's way:
It's not about converting, more like capturing. First download a screen capture program (i use hypercam). Then, maximize Pivot, and obviously start up hypercam. Adjust the area to be captured, press record and then play on Pivot. Edit the captured video in Windows Movie Maker, and there you go.

Ilvsy1's way:
A harder but maybe clearer and higher quality way is to save the animation as a bitmap in a folder, then play each bitmap for around 0.07 seconds. At first, it looks choppy but it turns out fine. As I know,it is easy to convert videos to AVI video if you have an effective video converter.

Writing a CD or DVD involves using a powerful laser to melt a dye inside the disc to a special pattern. Since melting can often be seen as a form of burning, and since burning sounds cooler, it is the preferred name.

iMovie videos are in Quicktime (QT) format and need to be converted to one of the following file name extensions (formats) compatible with Windows Movie Maker:

.asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, or .wmv

.avi is a container format; the file extension itself provides no indication whatsoever of what codec is being used by the audio and video inside it. Because there are many variables, including codec, bit rate, the number of pictures used in the compression algorithm, the sampling size of the audio, etc..., it is impossible to predict with any real accuracy how long a video of an arbitrary file size is.

That is called video editing sofware. Common programs include Adobe Premiere, Apple Final Cut and Sony Vegas. All video software can edit audio (add sound effects, music, voiceovers), but audio editing programs (like ProTools, Cubase, Logic, Sonar etc.) don't have video editing capability.

I usually use the TunesKit Acemovi, it can also add watermark to a video.

At first, import the watermart to the media and drag the video to the timeline;

Finally, export the video.

AVI and WMV are both types of video file extensions. You can convert AVI to WMV using software called AVI to WMV converter. This software is freeware.

As long as the Hypercam files are in the correct format for Windows Movie Maker, they can be imported into the program. If the files are not compatible, they will need to be converted before importation.

You can do this yourself with your camcorder and a firewire cable on your computer or you can send the tape to a video transfer service like StashSpace.Com and have it converted for you (they charge $6.95 per tape).

To do it yourself you need to import the video from the tape into a video capture software like iMovie, winodws movie maker, or StashSpace.Com's StashBox. Just connect a Firewire cable between the video source and the computer. You can edit the material in iMovie if needed. Then, from the Share menu, send the video to the Media Browser.
