Turns out it's Weather.com's desktop weather application notifying you of a weather alert/warning/watch. You can disable the sound in the program itself. It's been confusing me for the past 4 days til I just figured it out.

I have a Hp pavillion with XP operating system. After my computer crashed, I used an XP operating disc to get it back up and running.

Now my local disc (H:) drive appears to be my primary drive.

But it has 7.59 GB of used space and only 423 MB of free space.

My local disc (C:) drive has 1.48 GB of used space with 178 GB of free space.

I get message stating that my memory is low on the local (H:) drive.

Used disk clean up that only free up KB.

My friend, there is a thing, the main part of the system known as motherboard and there are certain "limitations" to every board...So what I wanna say is if you increase the RAM you will surely find some change in speed but the maximum amount of RAM that can fix on to a motherboard varies like you cant keep 2gb for a motherboard which can support 1gb ram
