Well, what project area are you in? I am in several, but the one I do the most with is dog. If I was to do a demo at one of my meetings, I might show how to properly groom a dog for fair, how to show a dopgs bite properly, give a little talk on the items needed for a dog first aid kit, soemthing like that, something that has to do with the care and keeping of your animal, but hopefully not too complicated.

There are many reasons NOT to join 4-H. Here are some of them:
Do rabbits need to be registered for 4H?
Rabbits are animals that can and do need to be registered for 4H. (A pedigree may also work depending on the location of the club). However, if you are looking to display rabbits in shows, then most do not require you to be a member of 4H, therefore the rabbit will not need to be registered with the club.

Can clover buds and 4-h members be in the same club?
They most certainly can! The main thing Clover Buds cannot do is compete against each other at county fair, and their projects cannot go to state fair.

You can find lots of information about 4-H online by typing "4-H" into the search bar. The best place to find material about 4-H, though, is at your County Extention Office. They will have all the information you need to write a fantastic speech about any aspect of 4-H that you would like your speech to be about! Also, talk to your leaders and peers in your county 4-H organization. They sometimes know more than you think!

It depends on the fair. Some county fairs are also 4-H fairs and others are for open class. If you aren't already a 4-H member, please consider joining as it's a very worthwhile organization.
