Why have the two main peoples of belgium clashed in the past?

There are 2 mains groups. The flemish and the walloons. Flemish are dutch speaking and the majority (65%). Walloons are french speaking and the minority. Despit there majority the dutch-speaking belgians have allways been suppressed by the french speaking, who looked down onto them, the french got all the power in the past, it was forbidden to go to school in dutch, you couldn't speak dutch in the capital, ... When the border between french and dutchspeaking was determined the french cheated and cheated in the countings, and got communities of dutch speaking people who where obligated to do everything in french.

It doesn't take a genious to see the flemish came up to this injustice and defended there group, allthough there is still a big suppresion even in a modern country today in 2010.

Ironicly flanders, the region of the flemish, is by far more wealthy then Wallonia.

What are the disadvantages of belgium power sharing?

Belgium's power-sharing system can lead to gridlock and inefficiency, as the need for consensus among multiple political parties often results in lengthy negotiations and delays in decision-making. This complexity can hinder swift responses to pressing national issues. Additionally, the fragmentation of political representation may dilute accountability, making it difficult for voters to identify who is responsible for specific policies or outcomes. Lastly, the system can exacerbate regional tensions, especially between the Flemish and Walloon communities, further complicating the governance process.

Is Stevy Verheyen on Tek9 belgium because friends have told me in the PC community tells me hes from America and was 12 years old when he was gaming btw i am a huge fan of the team I was jw?

Well, actually, Stevy is from Western New York in North America and his real name is Stevy Swart. I've been friends with him throughout his whole career and asked him about where he was from because he never really spoke. Truthfully, he was 12 years old and was gaming for a few years after but I have never seen him since. He told me he had quit because everyone from Tek9 had gone to college and Stevy wasn't getting paid. The contract given to him was that no players across seas could join the team, but Stevy and Greeny both said they were from Belgium just to join the experience. Stevy and Greeny have been friends for a long time and since they are both done with gaming I thought this was the perfect time to point this out. Stevy in my opinion is the greatest player in the PC community knowing the kid was 11 years old when he began professional gaming and had to lie about being about 20-30 yeas old to join. There is another "Stevy" in the community now that is on fnatic roughly after Stevy had quit. I hope no one really is confused, because I sure was when he told me. Hope this helps.
