What's the fine in California for going 90 mph on a 65 mph highway and can you do traffic school?

ok if it is your first offense you have to go to court when you receive your court form in the mail and your court date should be on your ticket as well. when you go to court the judge will ask you if you plead guilty or not guilty. plead guilty. then the judge will ask you do you choose to pay the fine or would you like to go to traffic school. then you choose what you want to do once you've decided the judge will give you how many hours you have to do in traffic school or how much you can afford a month to pay your citation.

Can you refile for unemployment if you were denied in California?

Being denied unemployment benefits can be appealed, in which case the decision is reversed, if warranted, or upheld. In the latter case you would have to start over with a new work history to qualify. Refiling with the same work history/information is not the thing to do.

How long can a writ of execution be enforced in California?

If the query refers to the execution of a civil judgment, such judgments are issued for a period of ten years from the date they are granted. If the judgment has not been acted upon and/or satisfied within 5 years time it can be renewed for another 10 years and so on and so on.

All judgments collect interest until they are satisfied, which usually means paid in full. That being the case what begins as a relative small debt can quickly grow into a large sum.

What is the Wisconsin capital gains tax rate for 2007?

Apparently (and surprisingly) the top Capital Gains Tax in Wisconsin (as of 2007/2008) is... 2.7% (as opposed to the top Income Tax rate which is 6.7%).

cfhttp://sbecouncil.blogspot.com/2008/01/wisconsin-and-capital-gains-taxes.html

Not certain whether this is an across-the board rate, or (if this is the "top" rate) it is lower for lesser capital gains, nor what the table is; but this is enough to go on for calculation/guesstimation & pre-planning work.

How does an electrician apprenticeship work?

An electricians apprentiship works by first you getting one, all electrician unions offer apprentiships here in the us, there are some differences depending on the state. Once or twice a year local union halls accept apprenticeship applications from the public, you usually have to meet the minimum qualifications, high school diploma, 2 confirmed years of algebra or one year of post high school algebra etc... Once you meet minimum requirements and fill the applications and pay the required 25.00 non returnable fee you wait..... for a letter informing you of the aptitude test dates. The test consists" well here in Chicago" 30 to 40 algebra problems you have to solve by hand it is a timed test so you must be quick, the problems are not too hard but you need to be very fast. Next is the the English test.. read a paragraph and then aswer the questions not too hard. Once you do the test and pass with a decent score you are later summoned for a interview... well the interview consist of you at the head of a table and about 10 members of the apprentiship comittee and you must convice the anyway you can that you are worthy... after a few weeks you are sent a letter informing you of your score compared with every one else.. and you will be put on a waiting list.... here in aurora IL only the top 40 were put on a waiting list and out of those 40 maybe 13 will get in the apprentiship"this is due to hard times for the construction industry" and these are words from the guy giving the test..... if you are one of those lucky 13 you will be called one day and offered a job with a local contractor and be put on the apprentiship class of that year. You usually go to school once a week or sometimes at night and work the other days.. you are given raises depending on the hours worked you have,,, and eventually graduate to a journeyman electrician after 5 years, journey man wages here in Chicago range from 36 to 39 dollars an hour.

Is foreign marriage recognized in California?

Marriage recognition between countries is usually set by treaty; California recognizes marriages originating in many countries but may not recognize others (particularly where official documents are not issued.) A good place to ask might be the U.S.-based embassy of the foreign country in question; you can also inquire at your local County Clerk's office to see if they can give you an answer. Hope that helps!

Are the two senators of California representatives?

Are the rights of domestic partnership and marriage the same in the California?

No. The California legislature has expanded the scope of domestic partnership ("DP") in that state to such a degree that it is now roughly equivalent to what would be called a Civil Union in other states. A few differences remain, however:

  1. Cohabitation: required by DP; not required by marriage.
  2. Portability: Marriages are portable (or should be if not for DOMA), but DP has no legal meaning in many jurisdictions, especially overseas.
  3. Long-Term Care Insurance: Married couples eligible for "CalPERS"; DPs are not.
  4. Minimum Age: 18 for DP; lower for marriage with parental consent.
  5. Confidentiality: CA offers "confidential marriages" but not "confidential DPs."

Can you renew your California ID if a bench warrant has been issued for you by a California court?

I am not a lawyer, however, I do have a fairly extensive knowledge of the law. I don't believe that the court system communicates with DMV as to who has warrants and who doesn't. The only way DMV would know about your warrant would be if it had something to do with a motor vehicle. Even if it does, I have never seen anyone arrested in a DMV office, I believe the DMV does their job and lets the officers do theirs, and I don't believe DMV personel have the authority to arrest people. You can buy a copy of DMV laws, rules and regulations from your local DMV. Last year, it was either 3 or 5 dollars. It might help you to get a copy of the DMV Laws in California, I buy one every year, so I know what I can and can't do, what officers can and can't do, and what other drivers can and can't do. Even at 5.00, this book is a bargain!! Saved me a bunch for sure! Hope this helps. * It is likely the DMV would have notification of an active warrant and the renewal of the license would be denied. CA. Penal Code 1214.1...(paraphrased) ..'the court may impose a hold on driving privileges and/or registration of any person who fails to appear in court for any proceeding authorized by law....'

California

Connecticut

Delaware

Florida

Illinois

Maryland

Massachusetts

The following 38 States require that at least ONE person (One Party Consent) involved in the conversation has given permission for the conversation to be recorded including the person doing the recording:

Call the census bureau and they can give you the number. Off the top of my head its just like any other marriage. It will work as long as the two people are willing to give 100% of each other to one another at all times. Have respect, compassion and consideration for each other at all times. Dont play games or make bad decisions that will affect your lives for the rest of your lives. Good luck These are Stats on the U.S. as a whole: A recent government study found that about 59% of marriages for women under age 18 end in divorce or separation within 15 years, compared with 36% of those married at age 20 or older.
