In a relationship both partners do things together and sometimes they do things on their own it depends on what they are interested in. Doing things together is fun but its a good idea not to expect your partner to do everything with you. You do your thing and let him do his thing. That's the best way for it to work. If you want to do something and your partner doesnt its not the end of the word. If you make plans to do something fun and he or she backs out still continue with those plans. It's good to be independant in a relationship but also dependant on eachother for support.

In 1901, there was little that you could consider household trash. The closest that comes to it was cleaning the ashes from the hearth or stove, most everything else was recycled or burned (everything was made of natural materials, no plastics then). When I was a child, a man with a horse and wagon would come down the street calling out "Rags" "Rags" "Rags". He collected used clothing, which were all natural fibers. He made his living selling the rags to manufacturers of many things. There were other people who made their living in a similar manner.

Personally, I think it is silly to split up a person's ashes. Luckily, however, I'm not the last word on other people's beliefs.
