Why do kids get bored easily?

The reason children get bored more easily today is because they don't have to use their imagination as much as children from previous decades did. Now there are computers and the internet, electronic games and so much more than children from the 1970's back had and so we had to use what we had and find something to do to keep us busy. Children today are heavier than they have ever been, the reason for this is because they don't get the excerise that children in the past did,now they stay in and play games, watch television and eat all the fatty processed foods, fast food is at least a twice a week thing. If we would stop and think about it our kids would be in much better shape as well as we parents if we got outside in the sunshine. There are many things to do such as swimming, hiking, riding bikes, playing at the park, getting involved in baseball, softball, running or just walking. Have family craft day or just get outside in the yard,go fishing. Go back to the basics, turn the television off and the games and have a fun filled summer!

How much do doula make a year?

I can answer this question only partially, as I am only familiar with the work of self-employed doulas, not the ones employed by hospitals. This is a very difficult question to answer, as most freelance doulas have very unpredictable employment patterns. Depending on where the doula lives, and how experienced she is, she may be charging anywhere from $250-$1,000 per birth.

This sounds like a lot, but keep in mind that she may only take clients with due dates more than one to two weeks apart to prevent the labors from overlapping(So, using numbers above, a doula can make anywhere from $6,000 to $48,000 a year pre-tax). She will also have to deal with clients canceling for varios reasons (there is usually a non-refundable deposit/fee of half the total payment). Another issue is the demand for doula services, which is not always steady. Many doulas go through professional drought seasons, where they have to rely on other sources of income. Such unpredictability is the reason many doulas also teach childbirth classes and doula training workshops, or work as post-partum as well as birth doulas.

To sum up, being a self-employed doula is an unpredictable part-time job that requires as much time as a full-time job, and it won't make you rich. However, if you are passionate about birth, and are willing to learn, be creative and work very hard, being a doula can be a wonderful way to make a decent (in my understanding of the word) living.

Data, descriptions, details, evidence, and examples -- provided in understandable ways and with applications -- of the natural breakdown of carbon- and nitrogen-rich recyclables into humus are part of compost information for kids. The information generally emphasizes either composting in a kitchen counter container full of composting-minded worms or composting in the backyard through bins, heaps, or pits. Either way, the stress will be upon the transformation of kitchen left-overs and scraps as well as of household furnishings (cloth, paper, wood) and yard debris (leaves, twigs) into dark-colored, fresh-smelling, nutrient-rich organic matter which can be used within a year to amend, fertilize, and mulch soils.
