Is it sinful to look at your girlfriend while naked?

A. From Christian point of view:

"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Matthew 5:28)

Ans 1: The acid test for if an action is a sin or not is your own heart and what the holy spirit tells you about the situation. Jesus gives us the rule of loving each other. Is it loving and respectful to see your girlfriend naked? Would her parents be hurt if they knew? So, what are the implications of you seeing your girlfriend naked? You could end up having lustful thoughts about her, that would be a sin. You may not be the one to marry her and her husband to be might be hurt by you having seen her naked. We are asked not to cause our weaker brother to stumble. Hurting him would be a sin. You might accidentally see you girlfriend naked after a strange accident with a swimming pool filter and bikini - This would not be your fault you might even you help her cover up, but you could still sin in lusting after her! The great thing is that you are asking questions about what is sin, all sin is covered by Jesus' death and we are all trying our best to clean our acts up and be more like Jesus. Sexual sins are probably the hardest for most of us, in the bible no-one could find themselves sinless enough to stone a woman who had committed sexual sins. God gave us marriage to help contain our God given urges, so I pray that you may find your wife soon. Good luck on your journey.

Ans 2: Well according to the bible no. but it depends on your personal beliefs. You should feel comfortable with that decision and make sure you wont regret it

Ans 3: Looking at your girlfriend naked is not a sin, lusting after your girlfriend is. To love is one of God's desires, but to want personal pleasure is a temptation of the devil.

The Bible teaches us to care for each other, and in caring for each other your personal pleasure should be last on your list. Temptation is a great tool of the devil. He will you ridicule and even Bible scripture to attempt to 'trick' you into doing things that are against God, (immoral).

An important thing to remember is what I overheard two girls saying in school. The first girl, (keeping names secret) Sarah (15) and the second girl, Destiny (14).

Sarah was talking to Destiny about going to a party on Friday, she explained that many juniors and seniors would be there. Destiny didn't think she wanted to go due to people drinking and 'other' things. Sarah asked her if she was a 'still' a virgin. Destiny got nervous... Sarah laughed and said Sex is Great, you should try it! Destiny said she would rather wait. Sarah said your stupid, you don't know what your missing. It feels incredible! Destiny said again I would rather wait until I meet my sole mate and we are married. Sarah laughed and said Destiny you don't know until you try it. Bobby will be there and he likes you. You will never have a boyfriend without having sex. To this Destiny said; Sarah, I can be like you any time I want. I can have sex whenever I decide... But you can never again be like me. To that Sarah huffed and walked away.

I was proud of Destiny, because I knew she cared more about what she thought of herself then what others thought of her. Remember: Doing what is right is not always easy, but doing what is easy is usually never right!

Which surah has no letter kaaf?

Surah At-Tawbah, the ninth chapter of the Quran, is the only surah that does not contain the letter "kaaf" in its text. This omission is unique among the 114 surahs in the Quran and is a point of interest for scholars of the Arabic language and Quranic studies. The absence of the letter "kaaf" in Surah At-Tawbah does not affect the meaning or coherence of the surah, highlighting the linguistic richness and complexity of the Quran.

What is the difference between Muhammad and Mohammad?

Both words refer to the translation of the Arabic name مُحَمَّد of the Prophet (Peace be upon him).

Arabic is a strict language in the sense of pronunciation, so there is only one legitimate pronounced sound available for the word of Muhammad is somewhere between Muhammad and Mohammed. The reason behind existing of too many spellings and pronunciation is just an example of those languages, which are not capable to produce all the sounds of any other competitive language.

I was sad because I had no shoes until I met a man that had no feet where is this from and is it the complete story?

This quote is most certainly based on poetry from the Gulistan (or "Rose Garden") of Sa'di (or at least this is the earliest example this researcher was able to find). The book is from 1259 CE, so this will predate any other attribution out there. At one time, my full answer to this question was available online, but the Stumpers library reference archive changed to Wombat, and I couldn't find my original answer in this new format. The original source for this saying reads:

I never lamented about the vicissitudes of time or complained of the turns of fortune except on the occasion when I was barefooted and unable to procure slippers. But when I entered the great mosque of Kufah with a sore heart and beheld a man without feet I offered thanks to the bounty of God, consoled myself for my want of shoes and recited: 'A roast fowl is to the sight of a satiated man Less valuable than a blade of fresh grass on the table And to him who has no means nor power A burnt turnip is a roasted fowl.'

How is it sometimes brothers and sisters in Islam can be superior to blood brothers and sisters?

In Islam it is stressed that all humans are created equal before their Lord. Rather than bloodline, power or wealth, the only hierarchy among people is based according to righteousness:

Qur'an (Surah al-Hujurat (49:13)) O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

The question is particularly addressed in the story of Noah or Nur (as). Noah was devastated by the death of his son in the flood, and confused because Allah had earlier promised him the safety of his 'family':

"O my Lord! Verily my son is of my family! And certainly your promise is true and you are the Most Just of the judges." (Quran 11:45)

Allah replies:

"He said: 'Oh Noah! Surely, he is not of your family; verily, his work is unrighteous, so ask not of Me that of which you have no knowledge! I admonish you, lest you be one of those who are ignorant.'" (Quran 11:46)

So in Islam our family (brothers and sisters) are those who share our belief (deen), not necessarily those we happen to be related to.

Why are Christianity Islam and Judaism similar?

Christianity and modern, rabbinic Judaism are similar because they both arose out of Second Temple Judaism. Dr. Lawrence Schiffman says: "Second Temple Judaism can now be seen as a transition period in which the sectarianism and apocalypticism of the period gradually gave way to rabbinic Judaism, on the one hand, and Christianity, on the other. "

Islam is similar to Judaism and Christianity because it arose out of the two earlier faiths.

Why hazrat Nuh is called Adam sani?

Hazrat Nuh is called "Adam Sani" which translates to "the second Adam" because, like Prophet Adam, he is considered the father of humanity after the Great Flood. Just as Prophet Adam is seen as the first prophet and the progenitor of mankind, Hazrat Nuh is revered for his role in saving humanity and repopulating the Earth after the flood, making him a symbolic "second Adam" in Islamic tradition. This title highlights the parallel between their roles in the creation and preservation of human life according to Islamic teachings.

What are the examples of ijma?

Few Examples of Ijma :

1. The 20 rakat of Tarawwih salah that is prayed in Ramadan from the 1st of Ramadan until the last day of Ramadan every day, and which is prayed after Isha Salah and in which the whole Quran is recited. This was the Ijma of the Sahaba(ra) during the time of Umar(ra), this is carried right from the time of Umar(ra) until today in both Makkah and Medina the tarawihh is prayed 20 rakat as part of Ijma of sahaba and also as the Sunnah of Umar(ra).

2. Another example of Ijma is the second Azan of Jumah(Friday), which was the Ijma of sahaba(ra) during the time of Usman(ra) which is followed through out the world also in makkah and madina as part of Sunnah of Usman(ra)

The Sunnah of Sahaba(ra) is the Sunnah of the Prophet(sas) because of the Saheeh Hadeeth of the Prophet(sas)

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said: "Hold fast to My Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Khulafaa-e-Rasheedeen" (the Rightly Guided Caliphs). In this hadith two Sunnats are mentioned, one of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) and the other of the Sahabah (R.A)

There are many other examples on Ijma, but at this time this two example are enough to prove Ijma which is followed by everone.

Why is Jerusalem important to Muslims?

For Judaism: The holy land for Judaism is Israel (see Deuteronomy 11:11-12), and the holy city is Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is the center of Judaism. It is important to Jews because it was chosen by God (Zechariah 3:2). It was the site of the Akeidah (Binding of Isaac, in Genesis ch.22) and was later the seat of the Davidic Kings, when King David, Israel's greatest king, founded the dynasty that ruled Judah for much of its history, making Jerusalem the capital of the United Kingdom of Israel during his reign and that of his son, King Solomon.

Most importantly, it was the location of the First and Second Temples, where offerings were made to God and where His presence dwelt in the Holy of Holies (1 Kings ch.8) and was manifested in a number of miracles (Mishna, Avot ch.5).
Jerusalem is called the holy city by the prophets (Isaiah 52:1). It was where Jews would go three times a year to celebrate the holiest festivals (Deuteronomy ch.16). Even after the destruction of the Temple, the Temple Mount and adjacent Western ("Wailing") Wall, which still stands, is the holiest site in Judaism. It is hoped and prophesied (Ezekiel ch.40-44) that one day a third temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem and that the Messiah will come to it.

Jerusalem has become representative of the connection with the Divine. Jerusalem is also seen as the source of Divine Law, as demonstrated in many Jewish prayers: "Ki miTziyon tetze Torah udvar Hashem miYerushalayim - From Zion comes the Torah and the Word of God from Jerusalem" (Isaiah 2:3). Jerusalem is also representative of the Redemption of the Jewish people from their physical and spiritual exile, because this exile causes the melancholy that the Jewish people experience by being apart from God's presence. The Redemption, which Jews believe will be brought by the Messiah, will result in the Jewish people returning to Jerusalem.

According to ancient Hebrew tradition, Jerusalem is the site where God took the very earth from which Adam, the first man, was formed (midrash Rabbah 14:8). Read Genesis carefully; Adam was not created in the garden of Eden; he was taken there. Jerusalem, because it is the first place on Earth where the spirit of God dwelt, is considered a direct link to God.

Judaism is the oldest monotheistic religion and Jerusalem has been its only holy site for over 3000 years. King Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by invading Babylonians, and rebuilt at the same site (known as the Temple Mount) about 2500 years ago. It was then destroyed again when the Romans conquered Judea about 2000 years ago, killing a million Jews. All Jews who value their heritage feel ties to Jerusalem and the holy land, where so many of their people struggled for the freedom to practice Judaism. At the same time, Jews believe that all people should be welcome there, regardless of faith.

Jerusalem is the eternal Jewish city, and a symbol of a future time of peace. Jerusalem is also the focal point of prayer of the Jews. When they pray, wherever they are, they face towards Jerusalem (Talmud, Berakhot 30a), with love and longing. The sentiment is aptly expressed in Psalm 137: "By the waters of Babylon, there we sat and wept as we remembered Zion....If I forget you, Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its wisdom." For thousands of years we remembered our exile and prayed for its end. Now at least we can do so from "up close."

A Muslim "church" is normally called in English a "mosque". It is the anglicized form of the Arabic term "masjid", which literally means "place of prostration" and a term used by Muslims just as the Jews use the term "temple" or "synagogue" and Christians use the term "church". Primarily "masjid" is used in the Quran, i.e. Islamic scripture, to mean any place of worship dedicated to God including churches, temples and synagogues.
