Laser Printers compared to conventional inkjet printers have the following pros and cons. i'll start with the cons .
1) this is the only one , they are expensive , say about Rs6000(canon) compared to Rs 1000 for inkjet printers.
Pros:
1) the cost of print per page(20 paise per page compared to Rs2-3 of inkjet) is ridiculously less so if u have to print frequently then laser printers is your thing.
2) you never have to worry about the ink to dry up. so even if u decide to print after a gap of a year , it will print it without giving you any troubles. In inkjets the ink dries up so you have to take out at least one print every month or so.
3) laser printers have a very small start up time. they will give you your first print in less than 5 secs after u switch it on.
4) time taken to print per page is far low compared to ink jets . so more no of pages can be printed in little time.
