If you hurt your foot at work just by working can you get workmens comp?

  • Workman's Compensation Insurance is specifically for work related injuries. State laws control the way WCI is regulated, meaning the requirements that are needed to collect a claim, the amount of the claim and so forth. Not all employer's are required to participate in WCI therefore not all employee's would have access to the program.

  • In the UK an employer is responsible for injuries caused in the workplace if the employer was in some way negligent or breached other UK regulations. For example - if a workman hurt his foot due to a defective work machine - the employer would be liable to pay compensation.

Why are Texas roadhouse restaurants closing?

If any Texas Roadhouses are closing it is because the music inside is so loud! We finally got a good restaurant in our area (PA.) and we hardly ever go now because of the noise. People like to sit and talk, not shout at each other. The dance the waitresses do with the loud clapping is ridiculous.. Maybe the young people like it, but I see a lot of older people in the restaurant, and I am sure they do not enjoy the music. It would not be half as bad if the music were not so loud. You can't just cater to the young people, especially when there is a mixed age group!

The food is excellent, but the headache is not!!!
