I just put two new speakers in today. They are 6x8. The depth is 2 1/2". The screws are spaced 4" and 5" apart on the sides.

ALSO - the speakers will have a mesh grill over them. If you recover speakers from an older Explorer or other Ford at a salvage/junk yard...then make sure you get them from an Eddie Bauer or limited. These versions have better speakers. The ones I got have tweeters w/ the main speakers (stripped out of an e Bauer for my XLS). To take the door off, use Phillips screwdriver to take the 2 screws out near the handle, near the door latch. Then, pry the panel off. be careful not to tear-up the 6 white plastic grommet screws. (If you go to a salvage yard, take these out with you, too). you will need to take the small plastic cover off around the door latch, it just poops in/out. Then let the middle door handle hang - the one with your power lock controls on it. You will be able to lay the door panel aside, along with the thin plastic liner that was originally glued to the door. Now you can deal with the speaker. Should be 4 small 1/4" nuts holding the 6x8 in place.

If you search the web some folks have installed Volvo seats in other cars such as a Prius. I think it comes down to seat shape and lumbar support/control and matching it to your body type. As for aftermarket, I know Recaro has a seat designed for people who need more lower back support, but they're over $2000. I don't have any experience with them though.

Pain is a very personal thing and we all react to it and feel it in our own way. It would seem that if you suffer from a chronic and painful condition the best way would be to keep a note book, Imagine a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being no pain and 10 being about as bad as it can get. then note the degree of pain you are suffering at regular intervals in your book. If there is any flare up of pain between those intervals note them as well, as well as what you were doing or eating prior to the event.

The only treatment I know of that works for someone post surgery (as long a there were no rods or screws put in) is DRX9000 Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression. It is a fairly new treatment that is now used all over the world that has a very high success rate and no side effects.

The previous answer is completely incorrect. First of all, Methadone is not derived from the coca plant. It is completely synthetic, meaning that chemists designed it. It's base structure is NOTHING like that of morphine or opium, which are derived from the coca plant.

Secondly, it's main use is in the treatment of drug addiction. During the withdrawal period from drugs like heroin, patients experience a high degree of pain. Methadone helps to counteract this pain, as it works on the same neurotransmitter pathways that heroine does. It's second main use is as an analgesic (pain killer), although this use is not recognized widely in the United States. There is also research into it's use as an antitussive, and also in the treatment of certain kinds of leukemia.

Third, methadone is usually administered as a pill. Smoking methadone usually degrades the product as oxidation occurs. Methadone should not be confused with crystal meth, or methamphetamine, which can be smoked.
