The crank is where the engine power comes out. The pulley, with its belts, let you take some of that power to run other things, like water pump, alternator, a/c compressor and things like that.

To adjust the emergency brake on a 2000 Acura 3.5 RL, first, ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the rear wheels are chocked. Locate the adjustment nut under the center console, which connects to the parking brake cable. Tighten or loosen the nut as needed to achieve the desired tension, ensuring that the brake engages securely without excessive force. Finally, test the brake by pulling the handle to ensure it holds the vehicle in place.

I just changed mine it was far easier than expected. All you have to do is look under the driver side steering wheel. Looking up at it will be on the left side. It will have a white and brown plugs coming from it. When I changed mine I turned the key and heard a clicking sound upon starting. There is a white box with three or four sets of wires next to the main relay. Push the relay up to remove it. The remove the plugs and to reinstall you have to push it all the way up and let it slide back down. You do not have to remove anything extra. This is on a 97 acura Rl.

My car would not start and left my a towing bill. But before that it would not start till I have turn the key three or four times. Then the car would hut off going down the road at all speeds. the part was 68$ at auto zone.

it is on the right side of the trans. between the trans. and the passenger floor underneath the car

The scan port is under a little rubber flap under the ash tray. It is easy to get to, IF you know where Acura hid it.

1. Shut the Doors
2. Turn Electronic Key to Position 2
3. Within 4 Seconds Press Button 0 twice.
4. The present status for days or distance is displayed. Within 10 Seconds Turn Electronic key in sterring lock to position 1.
5. Press and hold button 0, while turning electronic key in steering lock to position 2 again. The present status for days or distance is displayed once more. Continue to hold button 0 After Approx 10 seconds a signal sounds, and the display shows 10,000 miles (15000KM)
6. Release button 0. If the FSS counter was inadvertently reset Mercedes-Benz dealer can correct it.
7. This should reset it and it should not appear again when you initially start the car.

Not quite sure how to do it manually, but if you spend the extra couple of dollars to go to a Acura dealer they will reset all the warning lights on the vehicle.

To replace the radiator in a 1996 Acura 3.5 RL, start by draining the coolant from the radiator and disconnecting the negative battery cable. Next, remove the hoses connected to the radiator, along with any mounting bolts or brackets securing it in place. Carefully lift out the old radiator, then install the new one by reversing the removal steps, ensuring all connections are secure. Finally, refill the coolant and check for leaks before reconnecting the battery.

Check inside your glove compartment and make sure you have the trunk switch set to open with the button. This is a safety feature for valet parking.

It is under the dash on the driver's side. Look up under there where the brake pedal is attached. It is a black box with two electrical connectors plugged in to the bottom It is attached to the dash with a silver metal bracket.

you have to take the whole car to the dealer (not just the radio)

look on bottom of cigarette ash tray. there is a sticker there. enter the shorter number using the numbers on the radio. should be a 5 or 6 digit number. the other number is the radio serial number.

Is one of the 7 amp of the fuse box under the hood, but make sure you have the code number to reactivate the radio.

To flush a radiator on an Acura RL you will need to make sure the care is level. Remove the radiator cap from the radiator under the hood. Place a bucket under the radiator and remove the radiator plug. This is a white plug located on the bottom of the radiator which may be hidden by the splash guards at the front of the vehicle. After the radiator fluid has been drained replace the white radiator plug. Refill the radiator with coolant and replace the radiator cap.

In the '03 Owner's manual, a rather poor picture shows the oil drain bolt at the bottom right rear of the engine; it's axis is parallel to the ground, fore and aft. If the picture is correct "Engine Oil" label is cast into the bottom casting at the bolt. Directions are to run engine to normal temperature; lift hood, remove engine oil fill cap. Remove drain bolt and washer from the bottom of the engine. Remove the oil filter and let the remaining oil drain; a special wrench is needed for the filter. (I'd guess a normal oil filter wrench will work. )

i would check fuse panel for blown courtesy light or inst.cluster fuse that would be the first place i would look,assuming of course there are no dash lights what so ever.

you should be able to just disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes and then connect it back up and it should make the light reset and go off. It worked for me at least
