yes, but probly not the best way to go, no doubt it is unhealthy physically for u, but that is the least of ur concern. i have heard cases of ppl loseing 6 pounds over night or more, one of which is myself. but when u go through withdrawl, which u can't escape, and u have to face it sumtime, u will lose all intrest in loseing weight, adderal is dextroamphetamine, so the high is amazing but the low is pure hell, no question, u will be a totally different person, but it also depends on how much u take too, my estimate with my self is 10mg of adderal equals one pound over night, this doesn't include activity, and 10 mg withdrawl isn't so bad.

As far as parenting goes... I'm not too sure about that one. If you are taking your child's medication that's pretty $hitty of you, but otherwise I dont suppose it would affect your ability to parent, if not possibly increase it. It doesn't make you feel depressed when you are experiencing the drugs effects per se, but it will cause depression and anxiety upon withdrawl. It does in fact lighten your mood, make you feel a little bit better, give you increased energy amounts, and even decrease appetite, but don't forget it can become highly addictive.

This is completely nonfactual, and simply untrue.
Caffeine's interaction with Adderall is classified as "Additive". If you mix stimulants (d-amphet & caffeine are both stimulants) you will always get an additive interaction.
Also, Red Bull contains the following ingredients which are known to produce the interaction classification of "Additive" when used in conjunction with "Dextro-Amphetamine's"
- A high amount of sugars (39 g / 12 OZ)
- High amount of Vitamin B6 (360% / 12 OZ)
- High amount of Vitamin B 12 (120% / 12 OZ)
- Taurine (unspecified amount)

So since my phychiatrist prescibes this to me and I am monitored monthly, I would believe this is a safe combination. I am to take my vyvanse and one .5 xanax in morning. and 2 .5 xanax before bed.

My 11 year old was taking Rivotril and another substance that her neurologist had recommended when he first had an eye twitching tic. He continued taking these from that onset, 3 months. It`s been almost a year since then and he has slowly stopped twitching his eyes, without any drops. Hence, stop all contact with the substance and look for an alternative is my best advice. Unless it is a counterpart of the drug and you must weigh the benefits.

From what I have read, it is more common than not for people with ADD/ADHD to also have tics, and/or several other disorders, regardless of medication. It may just be coincidence that the tics are becoming evident while your child is taking adderall, and stopping it would not stop the tics. Be sure your child's doctor specializes in ADD or ADHD. In addition to your doctor, pharmacists can be a wealth of information when it comes to medications and their side effects.
