Well, it is obviously different for you than it is most people. I have been taking Suboxone for a year, and I certainly do not get high from it. I am at 8 mg per day. I never feel high from it. I don't know anyone who feels high from Suboxone.

No. Most are, but some just sit there in a stupor or stay out all night at bars. Nonetheless, it is difficult living with an alcoholic. They can be moody, have health problems, be a drain financially and it's definitely not a good atmosphere for children. Besides that, it's a waste of life for the mate of the alcoholic. You can't force an alcoholic to get help. They usually have to hit rock bottom to get the help, and even then, some are addicted to alcohol so badly they will go back to drinking. Marcy

It depends on how much Pepsi you drink during the day. Start by cutting out the first and last sodas of the day. I suggest you first switch to something like seltzer water, because it has carbonation like soda, and then change to water. You may be a bit addicted to the caffeine in the soda, so do not be surprised if you have a headache for a day or two. If you have been drinking quite a bit of soda, you may also feel a bit shaky for a day or two.

You also need to consider why you are drinking so much soda. Are you tired or thirsty? Water helps with both problems. Juice with lots of ice and a bit of seltzer may also help

I would give the methadone a good four days to get out but keep taking your suboxone so you dont get sick. i have been on probation taking u.a.'s for about a year and have been on suboxone for the same amount of time. I take a sub the morning of my test and it shows clean everytime. just quit the methadone and you will be fine!
