Have a reputation for always being busy and helpful. It is important to have a social life but again your university days are the build up of your formative years into the working world so start working on an excellent reputation to get good reviews from professors and employers. Put one hundred percent in everything that you do especially in projects because these situations would be what you would be saying in future interviews on situational scenarios e.g. Talk about a project that you have been really successful with?
Also try to attain a good GPA or get on the deans list because again this would be an extra on your resume that will make you stand out from the other thousands of applicants.
Above all I cannot stress enough be CONFIDENT, you got to show strength and believe in yourself that way others can too.
