What is an ap?

An Ape missing it's "E" lol

(otherwise it could be an abbreviation for "Application")

I'm pretty sure they meant what is an ap - as in an advanced placement course you could take in high school to earn college credit (if you do well on the exam in may and your college offers credit)

Since this was posted in the Final Fantasy category, it probably means "What is AP?".

Ability points, just another no-equal-in-real-life statistic that measures the progress you are making on X.

X is game-dependent (e.g. FFX has AP replace exp, but FFTA has AP make you learn abilities).

How many years and what classes would you need to take in college to become a kindergarten teacher Do you know of any not so expensive colleges where these classes can be taken?

In general, an individual who is pursing a career as a Kindergarten Teacher will enroll in an Early Childhood Education program of study. This will cover Pre-K through fourth grade. To be teacher certified it takes four years of full-time study, if the program is followed as prescribed by the college or university. With college tuition constantly on the rise, individuals are now shopping for colleges that will not place an unreasonable financial burden on them. One good way to hold down the expense of a college education is by starting at a home county community college. Once the Associates Degree is completed, the student then transfers to a four year college or university to finish the last two years of study. Remember that public or state colleges will be less expensive than private institutions. It would be a good idea to speak with an Enrollment Specialist (formerly called Admissions Counselor) or a Transfer Counselor at the home county community college for more detailed information. In addition, do not assume that you do not qualify for Financial Aid. Apply for it. If you do not qualify, you would then be eligible to apply for a student loan if necessary. Also, stop by the Financial Aid Office and fill out an application for a scholarship. Once again, do not assume you will not qualify. There are many types of scholarships available where the money is there, but individuals do not seek it out. Also remember that the college will always run out of money before it runs out of eligible candidates. So, apply early and be careful of the dead-lines for applying. Just indicate on the application, that you are applying for any scholarship you may be eligible for. The Financial Aid support staff will attempt to marry up your information with what may be available to you.

Is it cheating to memorize an answer from a released AP Calculus test and use that answer for a test you are taking in a high school AP Calculus class?

If the test is indeed "release", that is, in the public domain, I wouldn't consider that cheating. On the other hand, it won't help much, either; the next test will use different questions. You can review the released test to get a better grasp of the principles involved, and of what TYPE of questions will be asked (and perhaps how to solve them), but it is unlikely that exactly the same question will appear on the next test.

Is accelerated classes the same as ap or honors?

Generally speaking, 'accelerated' classes are in fact the same as 'A.P.' (that is, advanced placement) or 'Honors' classes. While some differences in specialized contexts might be found, the increasingly common use of 'accelerated' in today's educational settings is not typically intended to have a new meaning but, instead, to serve as a more inclusive and otherwise acceptable label for such 'advanced/honors' classes.

Is freshman AP World History hard to get into?

This depends on the 9th grader's dedication and reading and writing abilities. AP world history covers a huge span of material and therefore tends to require significant reading assignments. With time management and strong study skills the course is manageable, however. Teacher quality and intensity also determines the difficulty of the course. So it isn't necessarily too hard, but it may prove overwhelming or unenjoyable if the student is unprepared.

Do you need underwriter in private placement?

No. Any company can sell shares of their own stock, and can package that stock any way in which they deem marketable. For a company with access to potential investors, a formal private placement could very likely be more of a hindrance to raising capital than simple arms length negotiations for investment with potential investors.

In fact, formal placement documents, especially "Boiler Plate" documents can often have a chilling effect on potential investors. Especially seasoned investors. Speaking from experience, a seasoned investor will take a personal or written approach from a business owner over a boiler plate PP every time.

What an underwriter hopefully brings to the table is Liquidity, i.e. the ability to "Close Out" the offering quickly. Since a formal private placement will involve significant costs, audits, detailed business plans, legal opinions, risk disclosures and significant paperwork it can often be far more advantageous for a business owner to raise capital through a private sale of stock without the burden of involving underwriters - IF - they can handle the raise / have the connections to attract private investment without Underwriters (Selling Groups or Sales Syndicates.)

Although admittedly it's a pretty big "IF", but consider that most Private Placements are done on what is called a "Best Efforts" deal. Best Efforts means that the Broker Dealer or Underwriter makes no guarantees to their ability to "Place" (sell) the placement (Shares or Units), so in essence even after all the additional legal and financial burden, it is still a situation where the business owner is "Crossing their fingers."
