What is an anime graphic novel?
An graphic novel (commonly referred to as manga), is a novel in comic book form. Pages are usually in black and white. Manga originated in Japan, but is now found in many other countries as well.
Additionally, there are graphic novels called ani-manga. These novels are printed in color and are basically the anime episodes on paper.
*Note*- The style of art in anime is often slightly altered from the style in the manga to make the characters more tv-friendly. Because ani-manga are paper-recordings of the anime episodes, ani-manga looks different from its original manga. For example, in Inuyasha, the characters in the original manga look younger and more child-like, whereas in the ani-manga (and therefore in the anime), they look older and more adult.

Is it true that the unrealized to the public Trigun episodes1-50 in japan gave people mental issues?
There is another movie coming out based on Trigun, but i can't remember the name right now. But, if you wanna get really tecnical, then the 26 episodes you saw were, in fact, a sequal. There was a previous Trigun released that was 50 ep long, but was banned to television and the rest of the world due to the content. To put it lightly, it was like the Unedited version of The Exorcist, you know, the one that gave people mental problems. Serious about that too, the first people that watched it got actual mental problems.

Digimon Adventure 02 suffered from the several writers disagreeing with each other on what direction the season should take and as result many plot points were never really elaborated and left hanging. That was one of these moments, and as a result there is no way to possibly know what he wanted to do with the spores. In fact, his appearence is so short and sudden he feels like a character out of context.

Elfen Lied is a very gory, sadistic, and sexual anime/manga that that was made by Lynn Okamoto.
It focuses on the much deeper animal instincts of the human mind. The basic story is; A new branch of the human race has been created and the old humans are now conducting in-humane experiments on them and plan to erase the species like they were from another planet. The new race is called the " Diclonius". The anatomy of a Diclonius is very much like a regular human except for two horns on their heads that look more like cat ears. Other than the "Horns" the defining characteristic of a Diclonius is a special ability. This ability is called a Vector. It is a set of invisible arms ranging from two to twelve meters in length, they can tear basically rip anything apart(including other humans). The main character, Lucy, is a mentally unstable 18 year old girl inside a maximum security facility. She escapes this facility, but not without a couple injuries. After tearing through many guards she is injured by a 50. cal gunshot that ricocheted off her protective helmet causing her to develop a split personality. The other personality's name is Nyuu. That is about the first episode/chapter.
Please feel free to watch this anime. But be warned. This is not for the faint of heart.
