How to prune a cordon pear bush?

Growing shoots should be pruned late July -mid August to 5 leaves - to help keep the vigour of the tree in check.

In winter, then reduce this by a further 2 leaves (which won't now be on the tree!) as you want to create a fruiting spur network.

The leader can be reduced to leave 2 leaves of the new growth summer or winter.

Why don't all apples taste the same?

answ2. Many apple varieties have been bred for various attributes. Flavour, cooking qualities, long keeping, disease resistance, and so on.

So there is no reason to expect that all apples should taste the same.

Almost all apples require cross-fertilization (by bees etc).

Perhaps as a consequence of apples not being self-fertile, any fruit grown from a seed will not grow true to the parent. This of course is one route to developing a new variety!

Grafting and similar techniques are needed to reproduce a daughter tree true to form.

And there are some other plants of which the fruit is called an apple, though they are not of the Malus family. The fruit of potatoes, and of japonica are commonly called apples. Potato apples are very poisonous, as are most of that Solanum family. NEVER eat them.

The fruit of the Japonica is also known as an apple, perhaps legitimately for the Chaenomeles family is part of the rose family, to which apples (Malus) belong.

If you eat a japonica apple directly from the tree, your mouth will take on the appearance of a 100-year old prune!!

These fruit do however make an excellent jelly. (jelly as in jam.)

Can all dwarf fruit trees be grown in pots?

What causes apple cider vinegar craving?

Apple Cider Vinegar, especially unfiltered and unpasturized apple cider vinegar is a superior prebiotic food. Prebiotics are the food that our intestinal microflora (probiotics) need to thrive. Other foods such as cultered vegetables (fermented/pickled vegetables) and young coconut kefir are also excellent prebiotics for our probiotics. For more information on this topic, I found the following website very helpful with researching the cravings I had for apple cider vinegar:

http://www.bodyecology.com/07/04/05/apple_cider_vinegar.php

I just came off of the Master Cleanse diet after 21 days and this is when my cravings started happening. With such intense cleansing, the digestive tract is severely depleted of the microflora the body needs to break down the food and aid with the absorption of nutrients. These beneficial microflora (probiotics) are essential not only for digestion but also for immunity to parasites and disease.

Hope this helps!

I have noticed lately that apples aren't going brown when cut and left out are they adding something to apples now to prevent them browning?

Certain varieties of apples have more of a tendency than others to turn brown when cut. Some agriculturists have worked on select breeding for a less-browning characteristic. Also, storage apples will brown quicker than fresh apples. Right now, you should be getting fresh apples in the stores.

If you are referring to purchased cut apples, there are preparations - like lemon juice and sulfites - that will reduce browning.

How much to get pearly penile removed?

First, take a language class. If you call it that nobody will know what you are talking about. Then, take a good long look at yourself and decide whether or not you really were born into the wrong body or not. Generally, you know this from the time you are born. If you have relatives and friends that can be supportive towards you, that is wonderful. However, if you are like most people, you do not have all of the support you need to go through this. See a psychologist (not a psychiatrist) in your area that does sessions for gender issued people. A good one will not try to convince you either way...just coach you a little bit so you can be sure that's what you want. Finally, I hear Thailand does more transgender surgeries a month than the USA does in a year. Good luck to you sister!
