What are the similarities between Julie Rrap and Patricia Piccinini?
They both look at the body and how it has been portrayed. They manipulate the human form in a way that raises questions about social, cultural, political and historical issues. Rrap's work has to do with how the female body has been represented throughout the history of European art and she raises issues concerning transgender culture, genetic engineering and sexuality. Piccinini creates artworks where she cross breeds different species and makes a statement about bioengineered bodies. in her artwork "Game boy advanced" she makes two young twin boys playing a gameboy look old with sagging skin and wrinkles. Here she makes reference to Dolly the Sheep who was cloned and died young due to this. The twin boys represent Dolly as they look too old for their age as they were cloned. Here she questions cloning and the human body.
hope this helps. :)

If you are using oil paint because it can attack the canvas then a gesso coat is advisable. If acrylic, because it is non-degradable, you can paint directly onto the bare canvas. I suppose it all depends the quality of fineness or finish of the painting.

Unfortunately, Demonslyr returned the account she had used to its rightful owner and took off all of her videos. She has been gone for quite some time now.
