Years ago fathers weren't even allowed to enter into a delivery room to see their child born and the change of letting the father be part of the birth is one excellent idea and he will appreciate what his wife/girlfriend has had to go through giving birth as well as seeing the miracle of birth and with cutting the umbilical cord this is letting him experience even more and there would be a stronger bond between father and child. No longer is the birth of a baby a great mystery to men and it shouldn't be.
