What are the best pre-med schools?
"Premed" is not usually a major and few colleges have an official premed program; however there are colleges that are said to be strong in "premed" due to their effectiveness at sending their students into medical schools. These colleges tend to have a supportive network for premedical students consisting of comprehensive advising, academic mentoring, and numerous opportunities in extracurriculars and academics (ie. research).
Colleges renowned for such high-quality premedical programs include
University of Pennsylvania,
Washington University in St. Louis,
Duke University,
Rice University,
and Johns Hopkins University.
Several of the Ivy League institutions have very strong programs as well.
Of course, factors that may affect some of an university's medical school matriculation statistics include policies that allow only the stronger premedical students to apply for medical school; difficult introductory science courses that "weed out" a bulk of students; and the fact that the student body at upper-ranked universities generally tend to be of a high caliber and possess qualities that propel them through the difficult premedical track. Interestingly, most of the aforementioned programs have competitive US News Rankings and particularly strong biology departments as well. When choosing a premedical school, consider the school's resources as well as your personal abilities compared with the intensity of the school pool; choose the school where you will most strive as a student.

Does a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology aid in becoming a dvm?
No it is not. The bachelors is an undergraduate level degree, while the doctorate is an advanced graduate level degree and typically the highest level of education (in terms of degrees), an individual can complete. Actually, if you get a bachelor in veterinary science in another country like the UK or Australia, they are equivalent. Students in those countries go to vet school and medical school straight out of high school. This is becasue their high school education is more advanced than ours.
Not, BVSc and DVM are not exactly the same. If you check the curriculum,. DVM is not a PhD course. DVM is also a undergraduate course for 5 to 6 years in some countries. If DVM is graduate course but it needs at least 235 credit hours and one need to attend just 6 years to complete it. to get BVSc degree you need to take a minimum of 156 credit hours most of the British colonies and England normally use BVSc . Please don't make misleading to readers by saying that the TWO degrees are the same. John Smith (PHD)
The specific classes would be dependent on your specific program of study. The first two years are typically involved in completing a general education cluster to include, composition, humanities, exact sciences to include math, laboratory sciences, also social science, free electives in addition to prerequisite coursework needed for advanced courses particular to you specific field of study. A bachelor's degree in most areas can require between 124 to 128 college credits particular to a specific program of study. This would be based on a college or university that operates on a regular two semester academic year which is the most common. For institutions that operate on a tri-semester or quarter-semester it would be quite different. That being said, the Bachelor's degree - in most cases - is designed as a four year program of study, provided the student is full-time and follows their chosen program of study as prescribed by the college or university, and also provided the individual does not require prerequisite or developmental coursework. The minimum credit load for a full-time student is no less than 12 credits per semester. However, to complete the degree within the four years, a credit load of approximately 15 to 18 credits is recommended. For individuals who work or who have other responsibilities that would prohibit them from attending full-time, completion of the degree may take twice as long. Still, some of this time can be cut down by attending summer sessions and/or interim sessions. In addition, the bachelors and associate degrees are referred to as undergraduate degrees while the Masters and Doctorate degrees referred to as graduate degrees.

Is history a Bachelor of Arts?
Absolutely. You would need to also do a specific teaching qualification. Most common is the PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) which involves training through a university and a school placement. There are other options available. The GTP (Graduate Training Programme - I think) is where you gain the qualification through a school. It depends on your time frame and financial responsibilities. For more information check the internet ( www.teach.gov.uk ) and for some support from other potential teachers and experienced teachers check out www.tes.co.uk (although some of the chat rooms are 'clicky')
You can attend Raymond Walters for a two year degree in radiology. That is the best I can do for you. It is extremely hard to find that field of study in the city of Cincinnati. You may want to explore a larger city with more opportunites, like Houston Tx. They have an extremely large Medical Center Nieghborhood. Good Luck. By the way. RW costs about $5,000.00 per year. Pretty good. $10,000.00 for the Associates Degree.

Training requirements for computer systems analysts vary depending on the job, but many employers prefer applicants who have a bachelor's degree. Relevant work experience also is very important. Advancement opportunities are good for those with the necessary skills and experience. Education and training. When hiring computer systems analysts, employers usually prefer applicants who have at least a bachelor's degree. For more technically complex jobs, people with graduate degrees are preferred. The level and type of education that employers require reflects changes in technology. Employers often scramble to find workers capable of implementing the newest technologies. Workers with formal education or experience in information security, for example, are currently in demand because of the growing use of computer networks, which must be protected from threats. For jobs in a technical or scientific environment, employers often seek applicants who have at least a bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, information science, applied mathematics, engineering, or the physical sciences. Courses in computer science or related subjects combined with practical experience can qualify people for some jobs in the occupation. Employers, hardware and software vendors, colleges and universities, and private training institutions offer continuing education to help workers attain the latest skills. What is the most important function in staffing?
Call them what you want: Brand ambassadors, spokesmodels, promotional staff, event talent, etc. Their title is not important, but their presence is CRUCIAL to your program's success. Don't underestimate the "people-part" of your experience. They're the connectors responsible for the friendly nudging and poignant messaging between your brand and its future consumers.
Don't wait until the 13th hour to focus on the human element of your program. All of the preparation and TLC you've poured into the tactics and logistical placeholders of your program shouldn't be gambled on a staffing company with no track record, little experience and zero insurance. But it happens. Often. We see it all the time: an agency methodical in its ways when creating a complex experiential program, only to lighten its standards and practices with hiring event marketing staff. They have a direction and contingency for every facet of their program, but seem to have forgotten a strategic partner suited to control the variables of placing and maintaining discriminating talent. Omitting what I call, the "Science of Staffing."
Your experienced account managers prepare you to deal with the intricacies of your program, but a discouraging trend I see more and more these days is the lack of accountability ad and PR agencies place in their staffing partners. It's easy to overlook, but more important than ever these days to embrace your partnership with a strategic talent agency. They help control the variables of staffing to create and close out those seamless events you intend to build for your client. And because I hate seeing bad talent happen to good people, I've compiled a list of important variables your staffing partner should always be considering.
Look the Part
Talent's look and personality MUST match those core characteristics of the brand in order for a consumer to reciprocate with the experience. Ask your staffing partner about the criteria they use for both registering and placing talent. Do they require information as it relates to a candidate's relevant brand experience? How current are the photos they have on file? What software is being used to assist in their booking of talent? Ask about all of the steps used in their process and see how they're matching up the best talent to your unique event. Remember, anyone can fill up virtual shoeboxes of Craigslist photos/resumes and check names off a list. Your precious dollars and brand's interaction are on the line here, so don't be afraid to take a look under the hood.
Experience is Everything
With the exception of a few types of tradeshows (cut me some slack, you know exactly what I'm saying), a promotional model's past brand experience will always be useful. If they already know who the target is and are familiar with a brand's culture, use this to your advantage. By the time a seasoned field rep is on site, they should be able to answer, with confidence, basic brand-related inquiries and speak comfortably to your consumer. Accomplished event marketing staff should speak from a place of true experience, instead of spewing rehearsed lines from a sheet they read hours (or sometimes, minutes) ago. Training your talent is imperative, but having the experience occur naturally is important, too.
Give Training, Get Loyalty
Most event models will not make the necessary effort to familiarize themselves with the brand they're preparing to promote. Insist that your staffing agency make brand training mandatory. Go beyond speaking points, apparel, and program play-by-play. We've found client-assisted "brand-bootcamps" benefit a talent's connection to the event and its success. The best talent has experience representing a bevy of brands. Your talent must have the right amount of brand exposition to intelligently interact with consumers and bring the utmost loyalty into the event with them.
Back That Staff Up!
You're dealing with people here-"life moments" are going happen. Murphy and his destined Law will emerge sooner or later, so have a staffing partner with a solid contingency plan in place for late-and no-showing talent. A good rule of thumb is to have one talent backup (aka "Pocket Shift") for every four staff booked. No exceptions. We implement showing, and on-call, talent for every event. All trained, prepped and ready to flawlessly step in whenever needed.
Event talent should never be a DIY project-find a promotion agency committed to controlling the variables. Advertising and marketing agencies provide expert service through creativity, brand experience and tie-ins with strategic alliances. If you hold the same standards with your staff, you'll be dealing with a winning situation every time.

What is the cost per credit hour for tuition at Harvard for BSc undergrad degree program?
At Harvard, we don't go by the traditional credit hour system--instead we have half and full credits. One must have 32 half credits to graduate, i.e. 4 classes a semester, as each class is usually a half credit. As to the tuition fees, I believe "15 credit hours" would fall halfway between taking 3 or 4 courses a semester (closer to four), and so I assume it would be half the school year's tuition: $25,000.
