It seems that he may be just going to see the child and not you - just checking in. You may be hoping for something that just is not there - don't allow him to use you or take you for granted - if your not going to be together you have to have boundaries and only contact for the child.

Would you really want to take that chance if the are already paying less attention to you and make it even more aquard by telling them how you feel about them. I would keep it to myself till i was able to find out how they really felt about you then if they feel the same way then let them know of the feelings you are having for them!!!

I am not a believer (my own opinion) that one can be friends with an ex that has particularly cheated on you. You should both move on. I don't think either of you know what love is. Love is not cheating, lying, being unfaithful, hurting each other ... my gawd, it sounds like a war zone. Love is wanting to be with that person, helping them through difficult times, just being there, laughing, joking, have a little fun, as well as planning a future together. Sometimes you need to acknowledge that you screwed up and face the consequences of your actions. If she doesn't want to try to maintain a relationship with you any more, you need to acknowledge the she has a right to feel that way. The only way you could possibly resolve the problems would be to somehow re-build the trust that has been lost by your actions. Sometimes that can be done through marriage counseling, other times it just can't be done. If you love her, let her live a life that makes her feel loved, and that may not include you. Well, do you want to start over is the question. If you do then be a man and earn her trust and companionship back. Be true to yourself and with her from this day forward. Sit down and evaluate the way your relationship needs to be nutured to get it to the place where you both can work together. Tough one, that. You see, I have no problem with anyone falling madly in love with someone else, but I do wonder how real it is when it might well be fueled by the fact that you are dying to get away from your current husband. I'm not saying that it isn't the right thing to do to move out and find somewhere else, and I understand that is a pretty scary proposition. I bet you'd really like this other guy to say, No problem, just come move in with me, and the fact that he hasn't leads me to wonder if your "mad love" isn't just a bit too much for the guy. Some guys don't really want a girl "madly" in love with them; it can be pretty annoying once you've run through the Karma Sutra a couple of times. So, if you no longer want to be with your husband, so be it. Move out, get your own place. But treat the guy to some space to come into if he wants to. He might be "madly in love" with you because he thinks he can't have you, and if you turned up on his doorstep with a suitcase, you'd probably see him turn every shade of white in quick succession. Get your priorities right first; get your personal life back on track, fix up an apartment of buy a house, and then see what happens with the men. Because if I were in Vegas I would put a fair chunk of change that if you left your husband "for this other guy" he would be gone before Christmas. Phil

That is a purely personal decision. Some may put money first, while other may put family, i.e. wife and kids, first.

This sounds more like an excuse from your boyfriend more than anything. If he truly, and I mean this genuinely, truly loves you and cares for you, he will help you get through the hard and light times. In this case, with the excuse theory aside, show him that you have changed. If it is drug related, don't do drugs. If you have changed to someone else that he doesn't like, try to stay the way you once were. Show him you love him enough to change for him, and in this case. Love isn't mutual as your love > his. No is doesn't mean he never loved you but it may indicate he may have been seeing someone else during the end of your relationship if he left you and went directly to someone else. Let him go and move on.
