You will have to be ready in case she doesn't want to get back with you. It is always hard when someone breaks it off with us and we feel rejected. But this is an opportunity for us to move on and learn that we can not be perfect for everyone and that we won't find the person we need that easily. I know everyone says that there are plenty more fish in the sea but it is true. There are many other people out there who will appreciate you and there is plenty of time to find them.

What the gentleman did was not very kind and the pain you must feel right now is very real. But keep this in mind...life is long and someday you're going to meet the person who fits just right and who will be by your side for life. You'll always rememebr that you once liked this guy and you'll always remember that he hurt you, but TRUST me, the pain goes away as time goes on. Obviously, even though you like him he's not the caliber of partner you deserve, or he never would have done what he did. Some day you'll find a guy who respects you, loves you and makes you laugh. For now, just trust that each day it gets a little easier, even if you can't always see it that way.

Don't overanalyze it. His behavior was pretty normal for people who have just broken up--nervousness at a post breakup meeting and looking at the other person for any kind of facial expression. You were obviously doing the same thing. Maybe he really wanted to say more. Give him time and I bet he will come back. I really wish people would indicate who broke it off with whom. So many times, the answer depends upon that. Did he dump you, or did you dump him, or was the break-up consensual? Certainly, knowing that affects how one interprets his looking at you. Also, it would be nice to know exactly HOW he was looking back. Was he checking you out in his rear-view mirror, or was he, like, hanging out the window like a big dope? And one more thing: are you really hot? Just because you broke up doesn't mean you're not good-looking to him anymore. He just may have been checking out your bod.

You both should have communicated more (part of maturing in a relationship) but you decided to split-up. Even though he said his feelings wouldn't change towards you it's obvious you hurt him and I have no doubt he's getting great sympathy from his friends and they are egging him on and blinding him as far as getting back with you. It's really none of his friends business, but they mean well and don't like to see him hurt. This is the time you find out how mature he is and see if he can think for himself. If you try to contact him and he refuses to answer your calls and won't talk to you then it's time to move on and start dating others. Hopefully you both will have learned from this relationship that even going together you have to work at a relationship and all relationships have problems.

It can go both ways. They obviously didn't like being apart which will make them work harder to stay together. The bad thing thing is the problems that made them split are probably not gone and will come back. There is no gaurantee, but it's up to the two of them, and nobody else.

You can hire someone to follow her. You can follow her yourself. You can just come out and ask for the truth. If the answer is yes, then you boot her to the curb. If the answer is no, then find out the reason your feeling insecure and move on.

I wouldn't waste time, but don't smother her with your feelings either. could you be more specific on a good number of weeks to wait if she has been with him for a year? I think I would be more concerned with building the relationship to the point that she feels similiar to how you feel before telling her. Understand she is leaving a relationship and is probably not ready to hear how someone is infatuated with right now. Many good relationships start out as freindships first. It's okay to feel strong about her, but if you come on hot and heavy it may scare her away. Maybe say to her that you sorry to hear about the breakup, but since she is now free, that you would like to get to know her better. Then ask for a date to "close the deal".

Sometimes guys do not want to commit to keep their options open but also want to keep someone wanting them in the wings for when they need someone. He may be using you for his own selfish reasons. He didn't break up with you for no reason, you just don't know what that reason was. You could ask him and he may or may not tell you the truth. If you don't know why he broke up, the above won't help you and will probably push him further away. Note that the answerer says "always works", meaning that she has to keep doing it over and over. So even she's telling you that it doesn't really work.

If he said he broke up with you because he had lost feelings, it was true. don't make the mistake of over thinking it or trying to make him jealous to get him back. It's not going to work and you will just look like an idiot. the best thing you can do is try get over him and stop thinking about ways to "get him back". Well, if your in a relationship and your bf can get over his ex, you try and help him through. Like maybe (not exactly) but act like his... personal therapist i guess you could call it. All you have to do is figure out WHY he can't get over his ex and try and make him forget all about it. If he refuses to forget, you can either move on, or say if he keeps moping around like a wimp you guys are over. Simple as that.

For example, people will call, text, smoke signal or whatever way to profess their love to the one who left. Problem is they already know that and left anyway. You can by paying attention to his body language and behavior. Most of the time wives like us, thinks that our husband is being sweet, making himself look good for us. In reality its the sign that his doing something outside his marriage. Just watch if he ever leaves his cell phone where you can see it. Do you ever hear his cell phone rings? How many times he takes a shower, does he take one before he goes to work, how about when he gets home from work, does he take a shower as soon as he comes home or does he look fresh when he gets home, like he just shower. Those are some sign that you need to find out and if it is, yes your conclusion is right.
