Greater channel capacity
Each of the multiple channels offers substantial capacity. The capacity depends on where you are in the world. Antonio, Tonya and Poney *nickname sp?* Those are the ones I remember from 1987 or 1988. Wife Diana. They would come to Marion IL to visit him. I meet them at the Holiday Inn. They would come to eat at the restaurant that I worked at. Bonanza in Marion IL.
Them not knowing anyone from the area and me being from Marion I became friends with them.

For some odd reason something told me to goggle Jeff Forts name to see if I could get intouch with them again. After reading the articles I am so sad and even crying about his son Antonio we where close when he was here. I never knew anything about the family, just what their dad's name.

There's no suck thing as a "kermit" modem. Kermit is an old protocol used to communicate between modems back in the days of the BBS and before. Old communications software used to offer kermit as a communication protocol. But to answer your question. There is no such thing as "kermit" that is related to hardware.
