How many Motor mounts are in a 1991-1993 Cadillac DeVille?

Technically, only one (passenger side front). However, since the engine and transmission are bolted together they are suspended in the chassis as an assembly. So there are 3 transmission mounts and one engine mount that work together to suspend the engine and transmission as an assembly.

This is something I have never seen before. I would suspect you have a blown head gasket or cracked head. seek professional help immediately.

You have to go to your battery and undo the battery cables. Once you have done this take the positive cable and the negative cable and touch them together for 7 seconds, don't worry you won't damage anything. then reconnect the cables to the battery. go in to the dic (radio setup display and set the clock) look to the left viola! the clock will set. sounds crazy but it works. straight from the dealership.

My Saturn had this problem for a while.

What was causing it for mine was that the parking brake cables were old and rusty, and when the brake was disengaged, the spring (near the wheel) was not strong enough to pull the last bit of slack (up front) out of the rusty cable.

What I did for a long time was a) not use it and b) when it did get engaged, jack that wheel up and manually pull the slack through the cable, until the wheel rotated freely. (Exactly how to pull this slack out will vary depending on your car.)

Again, assuming that its caused by rusty cables (and not some other stuck part, which is possible) the real solution is just to replace them.

In my 2002 Impala, releasing the stuck parking brake simply involved manually releasing a gear that sits just to the left of the break. Mind you, my car has a floor brake rather than a hand one, but if you're having similar problems, just grab your tire iron (if there's a wedge on the opposite end) or a sturdy screw driver, get down on the floor and look at the mechanism hooked up to the brake. you should see a gear with a bunch of teeth directly to the left and behind the brake petal, above this there should be another metal part that's locked into the gear. simply put a little upwards pressure on this with your tool and it should release. Be careful though! if you're parking brake is all the way to the floor, like mine was, it's going to pop back with a lot of force! Make sure all your fingers are out of the way otherwise you'll probably end up hurting yourself, like

Note that this will probably only help in situations where your parking brake's release mechanism isn't working properly. If you have a rusty brake cable, i doubt this will fix the problem.

on my 98 Bravada there is a flap under the car where the oil filter is. I took mine off and on the passenger side of the radiator, theres a green radiator plug. On mine you turn the plug and pull it out a little.

Absolutely Not, 100% not even close to being reliable. Produced as cushy floating couch like cars with soft suspension, electric raising antennas and tons of other gobbly gook that is always nowadays broken, can't replace, looks awful. Not to mention it's a horrible gas hog and terrible to our environment. The handling is awful, the tires barely hit the road, the brakes are always too soft and it's horribly ugly car to look at and has no aerodymics, what a humiliation for Cadillac, the whole 80's for them, embarrassing. Don't buy one, it's time for that dinosaur to meet the junk yard. Lastly, no cars made in the 80's are relaiable at this point (2010), too old, don't do it.

I would buy at least a 600 CCA battery. Buy the largest CCA battery you can find if you live in a cold climate.

Slamming the trunk lid can damage the actuator and keep it from pulling the trunk lid down. The actuator will probably need to be replaced.

78 inch 6 rib belt.

Its pretty easy. Just loosen the serpentine belt. Take the lower hose off the radiator to drain the block. Take out all the bolts holding the pump on.There are three different types of bolts used used so remember where they go. Clean all the surfaces on the block , I use a Razor blade then some carb cleaner to remove any oil. Use a little silicone gasket sealer on the new gasket . Install in reverse of above, your done.

It is related to a ride control problem. The cars computer is going to limit your speed to 90 mph due to a malfunction in the ride control system.
