If you hear a noise in the driver door when you push the button,the actuator may have come unattached. If you do not hear anything in the drivers door and all the others work you most likely need a new actuator.

Air suspension needs compressed air for the control of Air Springs (Air Spring is a cylinder like thing which goes up and down when air is pumped in and out of it). For pumping in and out the air, air compressor needs to be switched ON/OFF. Compressor relay connects and disconnects the compressor motor from the power supply ( battery).

CHANGING ALTENATOR BELT:

1. loosen compressor bolts push towards engine to remove compressor belt

2. loosen power steering bolts and push pump towards engine to get slack to remove belt.

3. loosen altenator bolts pus it towards motor to get slack and remove belt.

4. put new belt on push altenator away from motor to tighten slack in belt and tighten bolts

5. push power steering pump away from motor to tighten belt and tighten bolts

6. push compressor away from motor to tighten belt and tighten bolts.

REMOVE FAN BELT:

There is no camshaft sensor But the crankshaft sensor is above the Oil filter adaptor I bought one of these cars, very poor decision on my part. BEWARE of any northstar with over 80K on it.

If the clutch on the ac compressor is not turning freely then the drive belt will either slip or not allow the engine to turn over. But most likely, the belt will slip and the engine will still turn over.

All of the 92 Devilles have a THM 440 Hydromatic transmission, this a 3speed with an overdrive and a converter clutch. Beyond that there were two different final drive ratios depending on if it is a base deville or a touring sedan and they are also different if you have traction control (not just ABS).

If the sound is a loud growling , whining, noise you're probably low on power steering fluid. Now the cause of the fluids loss is WHERE ?

u need brake fluid or ur braking brake down release it

HAHAHA! I felt like a fool after I figured it out ...turn the car on and put it in gear ..and it automatically releases...I was freaking out trying to release that thing..

The calipers should turn back in with a big scredriver or such!

you have to rotate the piston to retract them rotae the pistons clockwise with a large pair of pliers

should be a small black plastic box close to the distributor mounted on a bracket. it will have a couple of wires and a vacuum line the runs to the intake manifold

my 1997 cadillac deville also runs at 205-220 and it hasn't overheated yet,but you should also know that the cooling fans don't even kick on until the engine temp reaches 222 degrees>>just to let you know. I'm not sure but mine runs between 206 and 219 and seems to be okay with it.

No you need coil spring spacers or to replace them with heavy duty springs from a truck you will also needhub spacers so it will not rub
